New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with seven years experience working with teens and adults of all ages, with a particular focus on women’s and parental issues. I specialize in supporting women—especially mothers—who are navigating parenting stress, overwhelm, and the loss of self that can occur when caring for others becomes the primary role. Many mothers want to redefine and find themself, and my job is to assist them with navigating where to start and where they want to end up, together.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In your first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where they are encouraged to share what brings them to therapy at their own pace. We will review background information, current stressors, and goals for therapy, while also exploring what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past. The first session is focused on building rapport, establishing safety and trust, and beginning to understand your experiences, rather than rushing into solutions. By the end of the session, clients often leave with a clearer sense of direction, increased insight, and a plan for how we can work together moving forward.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
As a mother navigating the everyday stressors of life, I bring a genuine sense of compassion, understanding, and realness into my work. I approach therapy not only with clinical knowledge, but with lived experience, recognizing the challenges that many mothers face as they balance multiple roles and expectations. Having supported many women through similar struggles, I am deeply committed to helping mothers feel seen, supported, and empowered as they navigate overwhelm, rediscover themselves, and create lives that feel fulfilling and aligned.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I am passionate about helping mothers redefine who they are beyond motherhood, reconnect with their identity, and build balance, fulfillment, and happiness in their lives.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Supporting clients in identifying and restructuring unhelpful thought patterns, developing effective coping strategies, and improving emotional regulation. My work integrates CBT techniques to address anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, and behavioral concerns, with an emphasis on practical skill-building, goal-oriented interventions, and measurable progress.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
Providing a supportive, nonjudgmental, and collaborative therapeutic environment that emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. My work focuses on empowering clients to explore their experiences, strengthen self-awareness, and build confidence in their ability to navigate personal growth, relationships, and life transitions at their own pace.
Trauma Informed Care
My approach recognizes the impact of trauma on emotional, behavioral, and relational functioning and integrates strengths-based interventions to support stabilization, resilience, and healing while respecting each client’s autonomy and lived experience.
