New to Grow
I’m Dr. Adrienne B. Ellis, Psy.D., LCPC, LPC, founder of NTouch Mental Health Services, LLC. I am a compassionate, client-centered therapist dedicated to helping adults (18 and older) navigate life’s challenges with confidence, clarity, and resilience. I proudly serve individuals from diverse backgrounds, including people of color and members of the LGBTQ+ community, in an affirming, culturally responsive, and supportive environment. My approach blends evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a collaborative style that empowers clients to better understand themselves, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful change. For clients who desire it, I also offer a faith-informed perspective that honors spiritual values alongside clinical care. I strive to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where every client feels seen, respected, and supported while working toward emotional healing and personal growth.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
During your first session, we will focus on creating a safe, supportive, and comfortable space for you to share what brought you to therapy. We will discuss your concerns, goals, personal history, and what you hope to gain from counseling. There is no pressure to share everything at once — we move at your pace. I will also explain the therapy process, answer any questions you may have, and collaborate with you to begin identifying next steps. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, respected, and hopeful about your healing journey.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strengths as a therapist include my ability to build genuine, trusting relationships with clients, my culturally responsive approach, and my commitment to providing affirming, client-centered care. I create a space where adults, people of color, and LGBTQ+ individuals feel safe, validated, and empowered to show up as their authentic selves. I blend evidence-based practices with compassion, clarity, and practical guidance to help clients gain insight, strengthen coping skills, and create lasting change. Clients often describe me as warm, supportive, and easy to talk to, while also appreciating my ability to challenge them in a respectful and growth-focused way. My goal is not only to help clients feel better, but to help them live more confident, balanced, and fulfilling lives.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal clients are adults ages 18 and older who are experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem challenges, or emotional overwhelm. Many of my clients are high-functioning individuals who feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward despite outward success. I am especially passionate about supporting people of color and LGBTQ+ individuals who may be navigating identity, cultural stressors, discrimination, or lack of representation in traditional mental health spaces. I work best with clients who are open to self-reflection, personal growth, and learning practical tools to improve their emotional well-being and quality of life.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that impact their emotions and daily functioning. Together, we explore how thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected, and I support clients in developing healthier coping strategies, improved self-awareness, and practical tools for long-term change. My approach is collaborative, goal-focused, and tailored to each client’s unique experiences.
Christian Counseling
I offer Christian counseling for clients who wish to incorporate their faith into the therapeutic process, blending spiritual principles with evidence-based mental health practices in a respectful, client-centered way.
