About me

I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who provides compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based therapy. I have a special interest in women’s mental health, including the emotional impact of PCOS, hormonal changes, body image concerns, anxiety, depression and self-esteem. My goal is to create a supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges. I believe in meeting each person where they are and helping them build self-awareness, resilience, and meaningful, lasting change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming, judgment-free space to share your concerns, feel heard, and begin identifying what matters most to you. We will explore your current challenges, personal strengths, and goals for therapy. You do not need to have everything figured out before we meet. My goal is for you to leave feeling understood, hopeful, and with a clearer sense of how we can work together to support your growth and well-being.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring empathy, curiosity, and a whole-person perspective to my sessions. My background in health care has shaped my understanding of how deeply physical and mental health influence one another. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and supported while also gently challenging patterns that may be holding them back. My approach balances compassion with practical, evidence-based strategies to help clients build resilience, strengthen self-awareness, and make meaningful changes at their own pace.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are adults navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, or concerns related to women’s health, including PCOS and the emotional impact of hormonal changes. They may feel overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or frustrated by the gap between knowing what they need and making lasting changes. I enjoy working with clients who are curious about themselves, open to growth, and ready to develop healthier patterns. Together, we work toward greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, self-compassion, and a more balanced, fulfilling life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns, develop healthier perspectives, and practice practical coping strategies to manage anxiety, stress, and self-doubt. I collaborate with clients to set achievable goals and build skills they can apply in everyday life, supporting greater confidence, emotional resilience, and lasting change.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

I recognize that each person's cultural background, values, family dynamics, and lived experiences shape how they understand and navigate mental health. I strive to provide respectful, inclusive care by remaining curious, listening without assumptions, and adapting our work to your unique needs and perspectives. Together, we explore how cultural identity, relationships, and life experiences may influence your well-being while building on your strengths and supporting goals that align with your values.

Motivational Interviewing

I help clients explore their motivations, identify what matters most to them, and work through uncertainty about change. Rather than telling you what to do, I collaborate with you to identify your strengths, clarify your goals, and develop realistic steps toward meaningful, lasting change.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I believe you are the expert on your own life. I strive to create a warm, accepting, and nonjudgmental space where you feel safe to express yourself and explore your experiences. Together, we build on your strengths, deepen self-understanding, and help you move toward greater confidence, self-compassion, and personal growth.

Trauma-Informed Care

I recognize that past experiences can shape how we feel, think, and respond to challenges. My approach prioritizes emotional safety, trust, collaboration, and your sense of control throughout therapy. We move at a pace that feels comfortable for you while building coping skills, recognizing patterns, and strengthening your ability to navigate challenges without judgment or pressure.
