My approach is rooted in harnessing an individual's identified strengths and empowering them to overcome life's hurdles. These obstacles may include anxiety, depression, grief, self-doubt, anger management, boundary-setting, communication issues in relationships, burnout, and the challenges of transitioning into adulthood. My favorite metaphor is based on a rubber band. "Like people, rubber bands come in different shapes, sizes, textures, lengths and flexibility. If you stretch a rubber band to the max it typically bounces back into shape due to elasticity." Based on this, I firmly believe in starting where you are to work on breaking down those walls of narrow thinking to bounce back with your elasticity to positive thinking and push towards resilience. Having faith in yourself marks the initial stride, by seeking guidance, you've already embarked on the next leg of your journey.
