Hi everyone! I’m a LCSW, committed to helping individuals navigate life's adversities and achieve emotional well-being. I focus on providing therapeutic support to clients facing a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, adjustment challenges, grief, and addiction. My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, active listening, and a deep respect for each individual's unique journey. In my therapeutic work, I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals can explore their thoughts and feelings openly. My goal is to empower clients to discover their strengths, collaborating to help develop effective blueprints for the future, and ultimately lead more fulfilling lives. If you're seeking support on your journey towards mental and emotional health, I invite you to reach out. Together, we can work towards positive change and a renewed sense of hope.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session I want to hear your story, I also want to know your strengths, and I would like to know where you want to be. Then we can take the first small step towards discussing how we can get there.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Life can be so complicated and unpredictable, and sometimes we overlook effective solutions because we may feel disoriented and/or dysregulated. I offer the pragmatic approach to things. At times keeping it simple can be the most impactful and viable approach. We just have to find the right path, mindset, and motivation to properly apply this. I feel my strength lies in not overcomplicating matters. I want to help remove you from the labyrinth, not keep you in it or make it longer.

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

Exploring with the client their innate or developed strengths, and discovering approaches in which they can be amplified or reinforced, or reactivated so they can be used to combat the presented challenges.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Extensive work with helping clients identify their goals, resources, and skills in order to narrow focus, energy, and time towards achieving their mental health goals. Focusing on the “here and now” problems and symptoms in order to construct solutions that may assist with creating a better future.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Focusing on the reciprocity of how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected and impact the way we perceive and experience the world or our life obstacles.

Motivational Interviewing

Collaborating with clients to identify the gap between where they are now, and where they want to be, and creating a conversation to strengthen motivation and commitment to change.
