Hello, my name is Daniella, I am a Licensed Mental Health Therapist. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma, loss of self-esteem, adjustment to life changes, and relationship difficulties. I aim to create a safe and open space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings free from judgement. I provide you with the tools and strategies necessary to navigate through life’s challenges and to build a more fulfilling life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, clients can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where they will have the chance to share their goals, concerns, and/or challenges. The objective of the first session is to get a solid understanding of your needs, set the foundation for our work together, and ensure we’re aligned moving forward. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have over half a decade of experience assisting adults, teens, and children in crisis. My greatest strengths as a provider is that I am compassionate, find practical solutions to challenges, and offer consistent support, while utilizing a variety of techniques to meet the needs of the client in a holistic way. Whether you need deep exploration, practical tools, or just someone to talk to, I tailor the experience to match your unique style and goals. I am licensed in the state of Florida and hold additional certification in Trauma-Informed Therapy.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am here to accompany you on your journey towards healing, resilience, and becoming the best version of yourself. Taking the first step towards healing and personal growth is a powerful decision.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is one of the most widely used and researched forms of psychotherapy. It focuses on the relationship between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and aims to identify and challenge negative or unhelpful thought patterns to improve emotional regulation and behavior. In CBT, the therapist and client work collaboratively to identify specific goals and then apply strategies to help the client develop more adaptive ways of thinking and behaving.

Trauma-Focused CBT

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is an evidence-based treatment specifically designed to help individuals, process trauma in a safe and structured way. It combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with trauma-sensitive interventions, emphasizing the importance of acknowledging and processing the emotional, psychological, and behavioral effects of trauma.

Positive Psychology

Positive Psychology is a therapeutic approach that focuses on cultivating strengths, virtues, and positive aspects of life rather than solely addressing problems, deficits, or mental health disorders. It emphasizes the promotion of well-being, personal growth, and resilience, encouraging clients to build a life that is meaningful and fulfilling.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational interviewing is a counseling method that helps people resolve ambivalent feelings and insecurities to find the internal motivation they need to change their behavior. It is a practical, and empathetic, process that takes into consideration how difficult it is to make life changes.
