Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to go through life’s challenges alone. I provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can openly explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I work with individuals who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, or major life transitions. Sometimes life can feel heavy, confusing, or isolating. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, develop healthier coping strategies, and build the tools you need to move forward with greater confidence and balance. I am licensed in Florida, Tennessee, and Texas with over 15 years of professional work experience. Seeking support is a courageous step. Whether you’re navigating a difficult time or simply looking to better understand yourself, I’m here to support you on your journey toward healing and growth.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first therapy session often feels like stepping into unfamiliar territory—part curiosity, part hesitation. We will usually begin by setting the tone, understanding confidentiality, how sessions work, completing assessment, discussing goals, and understanding what you can expect moving forward. Remember, this is a calm, inviting, and non-judgmental space where you are free to bring your concerns and truth. At first, your answers might feel surface-level or slightly rehearsed. That’s normal. Trust doesn’t appear instantly; it builds in small increments. You might find yourself testing the waters—sharing something minor and watching how it’s received. I will ask follow-up questions tin order to foster deeper thought. We will develop a space where important thought is forming - where you may decide whether to say the harder thing.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Being an effective and unique therapist isn’t just about training or techniques—it’s the way I show up in the room. I work to create a space where people feel genuinely seen, not analyzed from a distance but understood in a way that feels human and real. There’s an authenticity; not hiding behind a script or a rigid role. I work to be present, engaged, and intentional. It is important to balance empathy with clarity. I don’t just validate feelings— I seek to help you make sense of them. When you share something heavy or confusing with me, we can sit with it without rushing to fix it. Then, we began to challenge patterns that are keeping you "stuck." What sets me apart is my attunement. I am able to reflect moments back to clients in a way that feels insightful rather than intrusive. I want to help you "connect the dots" and find hope and peace. My approach is flexible rather than "one-size-fits-all." I will meet you where you are.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Defining the ideal client is not about exclusion, but about joining an individual on a journey. I appreciate clients who make the most of therapy and consistently engage. It is important for a client to have an idea of what goals they have for therapy; however, if there is confusion regarding goals it is important to be open to suggestion.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT as a treatment modality in order to help clients understand the connections between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. This allows for change in unhelpful patterns.

Compassion Focused

I use Compassion Focused therapy to aid clients in shifting from self-criticism and shame to self-understanding and emotional safety.

Christian Counseling

When clients desire, I utilize Christian Counseling as a means of connecting faith to unhealthy patterns.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

I utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy in order to help clients understand and shift emotional bonds. This is through accessing and expressing deep feelings safety.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

In Internal Family Systems, the client understands and relates inner "parts" with compassion rather than trying to "fix" them.
