About me

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have experience providing psychotherapy to children, youth, adults and families for over a decade. I have been trained in several modalities and I specialize in individual treatment. I strive to create an environment where you’ll feel safe and open to be yourself. I enjoy bringing humor into the therapeutic room, can provide a solution-focused lens, but will always work with you to find the style that will be most helpful.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

You can expect to sit with someone who cares about you and what you are currently going through. With a warm and humorous approach we can reach together a space in which you feel comfortable exploring your needs.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I prefer to use a holistic approach and look to partner with you in the way in which you'd like treatment to proceed. I have been successful working with clients experiencing issues surrounding identity, anxiety, depression, LGBTQ exploration and affirmation, among many others.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is the one who shows up. The fact that you are here sifting through options already shows some internal motivation and introspection as you understand there’s a need for… something. Together we can take it from there.

Work together using an evidenced based treatment to help you change negative thinking patterns and unhealthy behaviors while looking to improve your mood and the way you respond to adverse situations.

Motivational Interviewing

Work together to help you resolve ambivalence and find internal motivation to change.

Compassion Focused

Work to help you cultivate self-compassion and find empathy towards others, specially in situations where shame and self-criticism are present.

Play Therapy

Using play to express emotions, process experiences, and develop adaptive coping-skills in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. Very helpful for younger clients but an opportunity to find joy and rediscover natural language for older clients.
