I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the States of Florida and Texas. I graduated in 2009 from Nova Southeastern University in Florida with a Masters of Science. I speak English, Spanish and Arabic. I maintain a general practice working mainly with adults. I identify myself as a brief systemic solution oriented therapist. As a professional, I am intensely interested in a lifelong learning and continuing to master the healing arts of therapy. I am curious about people and their stories, their strengths , their struggles and their resources. My strength as a therapist is in being empathetic, authentic, challenging and intuitively sensitive to my client's needs. My treatment philosophy is that I find each person and each situation different. I believe that people have internal resources that are available to help bring about a successful resolution to life's challenges. I approach my clients with warmth and a non-judgmental style.
In our first session, we get to dive into what brought you to therapy and dive into specific challenges. I also ask about your past experiences that will help me get to know a little more.
Have you lost the joy you once felt? Have years of living with low self-worth taken a toll on your relationships, career, and life? If you are fed up with wanting to feel different, but don't know how, it's time for a change. You can wake up each day with purpose! If you’re ready to reconnect with your best self, and face your future with a sense of hope, I see you, and I'm here to guide you towards healing. I believe true growth requires you to step outside your comfort zone, and will I stand beside you even when it's tough. Clients come to me looking for a therapist who can provide a compassionate, yet challenging atmosphere, with the kind accountability and encouragement that yields real results. It won't always be easy, but I believe in your ability to do the work, even if you can't see the way right now. And my commitment to you is that you'll never be doing the work alone. Many of my clients find relief in realizing that their struggle does not own them, and that there are many paths to live the life they've always dreamt of.
