As a counselor, I believe that healing begins with understanding — both of ourselves and of the patterns that shape how we live, think, and feel.
My approach is person-centered, strength-based, and compassionate. I deeply believe in meeting clients where they are, and I honor the pace at which each person is ready to move. Growth takes time, and every step forward is meaningful. I hold the belief that we each already carry the strength, wisdom, and resilience we need within us — sometimes we just need help uncovering it. By gently shifting away from unhelpful patterns and learning to embrace more empowering ways of thinking and being, we make room for courage, clarity, and transformation.
Most importantly, I want clients to know that this deep and necessary inner work doesn't have to be done alone. As a counselor, my goal is to walk alongside you — with honesty, care, and encouragement — as you navigate life’s challenges and rediscover what’s possible for you.

Hello Courageous Individuals,
I am licensed in Florida and Georgia with 14 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, & depression. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!
I normalize mental health issues with compassion, education and clinical strategies that help build acceptance, self-love and connection.
I believe every person has the capacity to heal, grow, and create a life that reflects who they truly are—not simply who they have learned to become through pain, trauma, or life experiences. As a therapist, I am naturally curious, compassionate, and deeply invested in understanding each person's unique story. Rather than viewing people through the lens of a diagnosis, I strive to understand the experiences, relationships, and beliefs that have shaped them.
Clients often describe me as warm, thoughtful, and easy to talk to while also appreciating that I ask meaningful questions that encourage deeper reflection and lasting change. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process where clients feel genuinely seen, challenged when appropriate, and supported as they work toward becoming the healthiest version of themselves.
I value creating a space where people can feel safe enough to slow down, be themselves, and feel genuinely understood. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a real human connection; built on trust, respect, and a steady sense of care. My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity about each person’s unique experience, rather than assumptions or quick judgments.
I aim to meet you where you are, whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or simply unsure of what you need right now. I pay close attention not only to what you’re going through, but also to the strengths, values, and inner resources that have helped you get through difficult moments. Therapy with me is not about having everything figured out; it’s about making sense of things together at a pace that feels manageable and safe.
I bring a thoughtful approach that balances support with insight. At times, this may include reflecting patterns you might not have noticed before or inviting new perspectives when it feels helpful. I often share practical tools, strategies, and resources from evidence-based and relational practices that can support you outside of sessions and help translate insight into everyday life.
At the heart of my work is the belief that people don’t have to go through things alone. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, or a general sense that something feels off, therapy can be a place to feel more grounded, connected, and understood. My hope is that our work together helps you build clarity, self-compassion, and a stronger sense of direction in your life.
If you’re looking for a space where you can show up as you are and be met with warmth, care, and thoughtful guidance, I would be honored to create that space.
Jennifer Valera, LCSW

BROKEN CRAYONS STILL COLOR! And I am living proof of that! Trauma, mistakes, bad decisions, regrets....none of it defines who we TRULY are inside. These experiences help us to grow stronger and learn more about ourselves in the long run. Growth and healing is what it's all about.
Hi! I'm Sabrina. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of working with children, adults, and families. I bring that experience to the therapy room. I have a high emotional intelligence, and I believe that EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION is a SUPERPOWER!!
I'm an advocate for family preservation and women's empowerment. Women play central roles in nurturing families and strengthening communities. However, they can lose themselves while caring for others. I love to help women prioritize their own self-care needs to help them be the best version of themselves when they show up for others. Let me remind you of who you are!
I especially enjoy working with teenagers and helping to bridge the communication gap within the family unit that often shows up as children get older. I am Christian and I have a wealth of experience with African American families and am LGBTQ+ friendly.
I offer a solution focused approach to therapy. Solution-Focused Brief Therapy empowers clients to own their abilities in solving life’s problems and recognize their strengths. Rather than traditional psychotherapy that focuses on how a problem was derived, SFT allows for a goal-oriented focus to problem-solving.
I am available in the late afternoons/evenings, and I am accepting new clients.
With over three decades of experience in the social services field, I bring a deep commitment to supporting individuals through complex challenges. In 2015, I returned to academia and earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University in 2022, with a specialization in Trauma and Crisis.
My clinical journey began as a therapist at a 16-bed forensic residential facility, where I worked with individuals facing serious mental illnesses and co-occurring disorders. I currently serve on the adolescent unit of a crisis stabilization hospital, providing care in high-acuity environments.

Hello,
I am very happy to meet you here. My name is Cassandra Sams, but please call me Sandy. I have been working as a counselor for over 20 years. Most of my experience has been in private practice but I also spent some time in agencies working with children and adolescents. I believe the agency work gave me wonderful opportunities to work with families and to help them navigate very challenging issues like mood disorders and anxiety. I feel very privileged to have been allowed to help parents find new behaviors to help them navigate the world of parenting. I also have been able to help children and adolescents understand their parents' perspectives. Likewise, I really enjoy working with individuals who are dealing with various life transitions such as leaving school to go to college or into the workforce, leaving college and building a career, getting married and having children, or struggling with the mid-life crisis and coping with career changes or life changes such as divorce or deaths of family members. I do not consider myself to be the expert of your life. You are the expert and I am the witness. I feel honored and privileged to be invited into your life experiences and to be a witness to your life's journey. I believe that your story is sacred and I thank you for allowing me to be a part of it. I use cognitive behavioral strategies blended with existential therapy to assist you in discovering what your story is. My hope is that you will learn to love your stories as much as I do.

I currently serve as a Mental Health Specialist within a public school district, where I provide leadership, training, and support for school counselors, social workers, psychologists, and therapists to promote student mental health and academic success.
Throughout my career, I have worked with adolescents, adults, families, and diverse populations facing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, behavioral challenges, trauma, life transitions, domestic violence, career concerns, and family stressors. My approach integrates supportive counseling, psychoeducation, person-centered therapy, and practical coping strategies to help clients build self-awareness, emotional wellness, healthy relationships, and effective decision-making skills.
I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, empowered, and encouraged to grow at their own pace while developing the tools needed to navigate life’s transitions and challenges successfully.
Welcome, and thank you for visiting my profile.
Do you ever feel stuck, hopeless, or weighed down by past experiences that still cause pain? Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, burnout, or feelings of not being “good enough”? You don’t have to carry these challenges alone.
In therapy, my role is to walk alongside you—helping you process difficult experiences, explore new perspectives, strengthen your inner resources, and build healthier boundaries. Together, we can work toward both your short-term relief and your long-term growth.
I have over 10 years of clinical experience, supporting individuals through trauma, depression, anxiety, addictions, anger management, self-worth challenges, parenting struggles, and life transitions.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your needs. I primarily use person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, and dialectical-behavioral therapies, and I also integrate EMDR for trauma, anxiety, and phobias.
My goal is to provide a safe and supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to create positive changes in your life.
Hello, my name is Bryan Llorente, I am a licensed clinical social worker and have experience working in several clinical and therapeutic settings. I started my career at Advent Health Hospice Care, one of the largest non-profit hospital systems in the country. Through this position I gained experience in providing therapeutic counseling services to individuals and families who are going through major transitional period in their lives (receiving a terminal illness, death of loved one, living adjustments etc.) As a result I am well experienced in dealing with depression, anxiety, situational stress, loss of a loved one, grief, and am understanding of how medical issues can affect a person’s mental health. I have also worked for Orlando Health at the Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies covering the ED/Triage, antepartum and postpartum units of the hospital. This position gave me experience with providing crisis interventions and psychotherapeutic counseling to patient's who have a history of severe mental health issues, or who are actively experiencing medical emergencies, traumatic events, domestic violence, manic/depressive episodes, psychotic episodes, and suicidal ideations. In addition, I provided education on post partum depression and child care. In 2021 I began teaching classes as an Adjunct Professor for the University of Central Florida's College of Health Professions and Sciences. I have also worked for the National Suicide Prevention Line where I learned how to deal with a variety of mental health and emotional crisis situations over the phone. I feel well equipped to help my clients deal with a variety of issues, whether in person, or online. I take an objective and collaborative approach to understanding problems, and work with clients to create strategies to address problems head on so that clients learn the skills necessary to achieve their goals.
Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in the same patterns? You don’t have to navigate it alone.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly 25 years of experience helping children, adolescents, and families create healthier relationships, manage anxiety, and build emotional resilience. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs.
I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Ecosystemic Family Structural Therapy (EFST) to help clients better understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify negative or recurring thought patterns that may be contributing to stress, anxiety, or emotional challenges, and develop practical tools to create lasting change.
Whether your child is struggling emotionally, your teen feels overwhelmed, or your family is facing challenges in communication or connection, therapy can provide support, clarity, and effective strategies for growth and healing.
My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward with confidence.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel difficult, but meaningful change is possible. I look forward to supporting you and your family on that journey.
I received my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. I have an extensive background in working with mental health and addictions. I approach therapy from an individualist, holistic, and integrative lens. I strive to provide a safe and confidential environment to assist in the counseling process. I help clients transform into a more authentic, healthy, and balanced version of themselves.
I am warm, DIRECT, solution-focused, AUTHENTIC, mildly confrontational, 100% Raw/Real and guaranteed to make you laugh as I have often heard from clients that I am funny :-) I won't lie to you or co-sign lies you tell yourself. I will gently reflect what you are not saying and what you are not showing so that you can explore for yourself. The intention of services provided to present and future clients are to support them in navigating through the pain. The only way out is through. Not above, below, or around the pain but through it. The good news is you are not alone and don’t have to do it alone. Utilize the resources offered in this collaborative effort in creating the life (mind, body, & soul) you deserve.
