I am someone who believes therapy should feel like a space where you can finally be your full self. I specialize in working with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, ADHD, identity exploration, and relationship challenges. I’m here to hold space for the messy, real parts of life with compassion and curiosity, not judgment. My approach is warm, direct, and rooted in deep respect for your lived experience.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other while I ask some intentional questions to better understand your story, background, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. I’ll also share a bit about how I work, so we can get a sense of whether it feels like a good fit moving forward. While there’s a structure to what we’ll cover, I make sure it feels supportive and not rushed. This is your space, and I want it to feel that way from the very beginning. Once that's out of the way, the floor is endlessly yours!

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I’m not here to give you one-size-fits-all advice or push you to be someone you’re not. I meet clients where they are with honesty, empathy, and zero judgment. I bring a balance of depth and practicality, blending insight-based work with real-life tools you can use. My clients often tell me they feel safe to be fully themselves in our sessions, and that they finally feel understood in ways they haven’t before. I know how heavy life can get, and I’m here to help you carry it differently.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults who are ready to unpack the patterns they’ve been carrying and explore what it would feel like to move through life more freely. You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck in your head, emotionally burned out, or unsure of how to cope with everything you’re carrying. You might be asking yourself questions about identity, your relationships, or how to manage your energy in a world that often asks too much. I specialize in anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and navigating the impact of cultural, racial, and sexual identity. I’m especially attuned to the experiences of LGBTQIA+ individuals, neurodivergent clients, and those exploring nontraditional relationships or open dynamics. I’m here for the ones who think deeply, feel deeply, and are craving clarity, emotional relief, and a space to just be. Whether you’re new to therapy or returning to it with a clearer sense of what you want, I’ll meet you where you are.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT in a way that’s flexible, collaborative, and really down to earth. We explore how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors all show up in your life and what patterns might be keeping you stuck. This is especially helpful if you’re navigating anxiety, depression, or ADHD. It’s not about fixing you. It’s about understanding what’s underneath the reactions and giving you tools that actually fit your life, not just ones that sound good on paper.

Gender-affirming therapy

This is one of the most meaningful parts of my work. I offer a space where you don’t have to explain or prove anything about who you are. Whether you’re exploring your gender, dealing with dysphoria, navigating transition, or trying to feel more grounded in your identity, I meet you where you are. I work with people across the LGBTQIA+ spectrum and make it a priority to create a space that’s safe, affirming, and free of judgment.

Psychoanalytic

This approach is for the deeper stuff. If you’ve ever found yourself repeating patterns or reacting in ways that don’t quite make sense in the moment, this helps us explore where those reactions come from. I use psychoanalytic therapy to look at the emotional roots of things like fear, shame, and relationship dynamics. It’s not about labeling or analyzing you. It’s about making sense of your experiences and finding clarity that lasts.

Psychoeducation

One of the ways I support clients is by helping them understand what’s going on internally. That might mean learning about the nervous system, trauma responses, ADHD traits, or how anxiety shows up physically. I offer information that helps you feel less alone and more in control of your healing. It’s not about lecturing or giving homework. It’s about giving you language for what you’ve already been feeling.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I bring mindfulness into my work as a way to help you slow down and reconnect with yourself. You don’t have to be a meditation expert or sit cross-legged for an hour. Mindfulness here might look like noticing what’s happening in your body, learning to ground when you feel overwhelmed, or pausing before reacting. It’s about helping you feel safer in your own experience and treating yourself with more care.
