Hi :) I'm Tiffany, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Florida. As a former teacher and mother of two teenagers and a college-aged child, I enjoy supporting women through motherhood- from pregnancy and postpartum to parenting teenagers and launching young adults. Supporting a child's well-being often begins with supporting you🩷. Therapy offers a protected hour to focus on you- not because your family isn’t important, but because *you are*. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I help men clarify the kind of father and/or partner they want to be, better understand the emotional needs of the people around them, identify patterns that are getting in the way, and take intentional, practical steps toward building better relationships.
I provide mental health care that is both highly attuned and clinically thorough. Our work begins with a comprehensive understanding of you. I ask thoughtful, targeted questions about your current stressors and symptoms, protective factors, relationships, family history, life experiences, physical health, lifestyle patterns, strengths, and the systems you’re navigating. This process is thorough, designed to ensure that nothing meaningful is overlooked.
With interdisciplinary training in couples and family therapy, school counseling, play therapy, special education, early childhood education & mental health, parenting, ADHD, and mind-body wellness, I take a comprehensive approach that considers how your experiences, relationships, neurobiology and current demands intersect.
I'm especially drawn to working with clients navigating complex, layered experiences, including: chronic stress and trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, parenting demands, work related stress, anxiety, physical health, and ADHD. I also enjoy working with couples in all stages of their relationship. When children are part of the family system, I often incorporate family therapy when parent-child relationships and family dynamics are central to treatment.
You have specific goals you need to achieve within a short time span- let's lock in!
I can help you *quiet your inner critic* to move towards your goals with less rigidity, negative self talk, and frustration.
Let's be honest, couples therapy usually isn't anyone's first choice. Most couples come in after months or years of feeling hurt, frustrated, scared, and exhausted. It's not easy. My role is to help make those conversations feel more manageable by providing structure and support so you can better understand one another, navigate what's next, and move toward the healthiest path forward.
As a Family Therapist with 10 years of experience working with children, teens, and families, I know there is no such thing as a "normal" family. Every family has its own strengths, challenges, and story. Together, we'll work to better understand what's happening, improve communication, explore ways to repair what needs to be repaired, and create healthier ways of relating to one another.
Sometimes it can feel like your mind is working against you. The way we think, feel, and respond to life's challenges all influence one another, and it's easy to get stuck in patterns that are not working. Together, we'll untangle those patterns and find new ways to help you move toward the life you want. I also provide Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) for adolescents and their supportive caregivers.
