Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will be a welcoming space to share your story—past and present—while also exploring your current needs. Together, we’ll begin shaping a treatment plan and setting meaningful goals for our work moving forward. I encourage open dialogue and invite you to ask questions throughout the process, as I believe each client deserves autonomy in their care and the confidence that we are the right fit for one another!

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

The foundation of my practice is built on the belief that the therapist-client relationship is a healing tool in itself. I often joke that finding the right therapist is like finding the perfect pair of shoes—sometimes you have to try a few on before you find the perfect fit. You deserve to feel understood and valued in your sessions, and that’s a principle I honor deeply. My approach to therapy is holistic, valuing your existence as a whole—physically, mentally, and emotionally. I personalize my care to honor your unique life experiences, ensuring you feel truly supported, understood, and valued.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am passionate about assisting women on their journey to an unapologetic understanding of the self, and am honored to work collaboratively on your therapeutic goals. Throughout this process, you will achieve greater self-awareness, empowerment, and enhanced perspectives, resulting in a more gratifying life. You deserve a mind at peace and a life that feels whole.

My treatment methods

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) centers on the role of emotions in our psychological well-being. EFT focuses on helping individuals identify, understand, and process their emotions to create lasting change. Together we explore how emotions shape thoughts, behaviors, and relationships, within the self and others. Through a supportive framework, EFT encourages clients to engage with their emotions rather than avoid or suppress them, fostering deeper emotional awareness and connection. This process helps individuals develop healthier emotional responses, improve self-regulation, and strengthen their emotional resilience. Ultimately, EFT aims to create lasting emotional balance and growth, empowering clients to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and clarity.

Relational

Relational Therapy emphasizes the importance of relationships (including relationship to the self) in shaping our emotional well-being. In practice, we explore how past and current relationships, including those from childhood, influence our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. This therapy focuses on building a strong therapeutic relationship as a model for healthy connections in our lives. By understanding relational patterns and addressing issues within them, Relational Therapy helps us develop more fulfilling and authentic relationships, ultimately leading to greater emotional resilience and personal growth.

Compassion Focused

Compassion-focused therapy (CFT) helps clients develop self-compassion and kindness toward themselves, which can reduce feelings of shame and self-criticism. In practice, we explore how the mind responds to challenges and work on cultivating a compassionate inner voice. CFT combines mindfulness and self-compassion exercises to build emotional resilience, helping clients face difficulties with greater understanding and care for themselves.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns that impact their feelings and behaviors. By working together, we develop practical strategies to reframe these thoughts, leading to healthier emotional responses and actions. CBT is goal-oriented and focuses on present challenges, providing tools that clients can use in their daily lives to manage stress and improve overall well-being.
