*Please note: my current openings for California clients are on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at various times from 6am - 1pm PST only. Unfortunately I do not have capacity to offer afternoon or evening appointments, or openings on other days of the week.* Congratulations on taking the first step in finding support - it's not easy to ask for help! My name is Bryssa (Bree-sa) and I am here for you. I aim to provide all of my clients with empathy, care and authentic support for what they are experiencing. I want to help my clients set boundaries, learn to identify and communicate their emotions, find their power and develop their sense of self worth. I have my Bachelors in Social Work (BSW) as well as my Masters in Social Work (MSW), though I joke that I was born a social worker. I hold an LCSW license (Licensed Clinical Social Worker #118448) and am committed to the values of social work in everything that I do: service, social justice, dignity and worth of the person, importance of human relationships, integrity and competence.

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you’re used to handling things on your own. My goal is to create a space where clients feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood. I strive to bring a calm, non-anxious presence into the room while keeping therapy warm, conversational, and human. I work with individuals and couples navigating anxiety and panic disorders, OCD, ADHD, relationship concerns, and sexual dysfunctions. I also enjoy working with healthcare professionals and people who tend to overthink or feel like they don’t quite “fit in.” My approach is person-centered at its core, meaning I believe therapy works best when clients feel accepted and supported as they are. I then integrate different therapeutic approaches depending on each client’s needs and goals. I believe effective therapy is both human and clinical — connection matters, but so do practical tools and evidence-based strategies. In working with OCD and anxiety, I often remind clients that growth takes practice and consistency. Healing is possible, but it requires learning how to tolerate discomfort rather than avoid it. For couples, I view the relationship as a team. Therapy can help partners improve communication, rebuild trust, and better understand one another. Faith-based or Christian counseling is also available for clients who would like to incorporate spirituality into therapy.

I’m a first-generation, Vietnamese, transgender, and queer therapist who brings both professional training and lived experience to the work. My approach is rooted in empathy, curiosity, and a deep respect for each person’s unique story. In my practice, I often draw from EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help clients process trauma and experiences in a way that feels restorative. EMDR supports the brain’s natural healing by using bilateral stimulation—like eye or auditory movements —to reprocess memories and reduce their emotional intensity. I also use Narrative Therapy, which invites clients to explore the stories they’ve been told or have come to believe about themselves. Together, we uncover how those stories were shaped—by culture, relationships, systems, or past experiences—and work toward reclaiming narratives that center resilience, agency, and authenticity. I understand the importance of creating a space where clients feel seen, affirmed, and safe to show up as their full selves. Whether you’re navigating trauma, identity exploration, or simply seeking to reconnect with yourself, I’m here support you in that process with care, collaboration, and accountability. Are you looking for a mental health letter for gender-affirming surgery? I write those! Feel free to reach out for short-term therapy services to complete the letter assessment process with me. My practice uses old fashioned, human-generated tools and information methodically accumulated over years of community and evidenced based research. I do not use AI programs at any point in the therapeutic process. *I am not currently accepting family, couples, or group counseling inquiries* *My evening appointment spots are full* *Pls inquire about my reduced rate spots at $150/hr*

I believe that therapy can heal, but I also know that telling a stranger about your deepest pain can be a strange feeling. Perhaps you've been feeling sad, depressed or worried, and hopeless that anything in your life can change. Or maybe you aren't sure what you would even want help with. You know you feel bad, but if someone were to ask you "How can I help?", you aren't sure what you would say. These problems can feel permanent and unsolvable. After all, something feels broken and unfixable, so how could you not feel that it takes all the energy you have just to get up in the morning and go about your day? Depression or anxiety can also feel isolating, as if nobody else could possibly understand. You may have even received advice from people who you feel mean well but can't understand what you're going through. Depression and anxiety are not permanent or unfixable, and therapy can help. Imagine feeling peace of mind, and excited about life and its possibilities. It starts by learning about you and going at your pace. As a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with over 16 years experience working with adults and teens, I've seen therapy work, and I feel lucky that I get to be part of that journey for others.

Welcome—I’m glad you’re here. Life can feel overwhelming when you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, major life transitions, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself. Therapy can offer a supportive space to process what you’re going through, gain a better understanding of yourself, and develop tools to feel more grounded and confident in your everyday life. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and the lasting effects of domestic violence. I also hold a PMH-C (Perinatal Mental Health Certification) and have specialized training in supporting individuals during pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition into parenthood. My approach is warm, supportive, and client-centered. I draw from CBT, TF-CBT, mindfulness, solution-focused techniques, and traditional talk therapy. Together, we can work toward understanding patterns that may be keeping you stuck, processing difficult experiences, developing healthier coping strategies, and creating meaningful change. You don’t need to be in a crisis—or have everything figured out—to benefit from therapy. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, feeling overwhelmed or depressed, healing from past experiences, navigating changes in your relationships, or adjusting to a new chapter of life, you deserve a space where you feel safe, supported, and heard. Taking the first step can feel intimidating, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. I’d be honored to support you as you work toward healing, growth, and feeling more like yourself again.

Do you feel like you have the insight but don’t quite know what to do with it- how to process it or heal? You are not alone. I help individuals and couples move beyond the surface to work through what is keeping them stuck. I use IFS, EMDR and other modalities to connect you to your wounds, unprocessed memories, and blocks. Together, we set to discover the parts of you that hold pain and unlock your full potential by exploring what is holding you back. Couples: If it feels like you’re speaking different languages or having the same argument over and over, you may be stuck in a negative cycle that’s hard to see from the inside. I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), rooted in attachment theory, to help partners reconnect, communicate vulnerably, and rebuild. Oftentimes, what stands in our way is fear because we have a deeply rooted need to feel safe. I understand. It’s much easier to stay in something comfortable than to risk the unknown; our minds and bodies are wired that way. My hope is to reflect your strength and worth, and to provide a safe, trusting space where you can feel seen, heard, and valued.

I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist. My Grow practice is focused exclusively on insomnia. I work with clients who have difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, waking too early, or feeling anxious and frustrated about sleep. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), a structured, evidence-based treatment that addresses the thoughts and behaviors that keep insomnia going. Our sessions will focus specifically on understanding and improving your sleep rather than providing general therapy for unrelated concerns. Hey, I'm Olivia! Are you ready to laugh, cry and create a connection with someone who is not going to give you cookie-cutter responses? Then keep reading. I am passionate about creating a safe space for my clients to throw it all out on the table, be met with compassion and validation and begin to piece together what they want to keep and what they want to toss. Many times in our lives, we put on certain identities and expectations that may not be ours but we keep them on out of comfort, fear, habit, you name it. I am here to help you sift through the pieces of you that you know but also become curious about the parts of yourself that you do not know. During that process, you can begin to find power in your choices and practice the art of being able to decide for yourself who it is you want to be. The stories you have come to believe about yourself are worth exploring and together, we can build a relationship where I will challenge those beliefs with you and assist you in building confidence to shift into your most authentic and understood self.

Hi, I’m Kelly Castillo, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). With 15 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals navigate some of life’s most painful and transformative moments. Many of the people I work with come to therapy carrying the weight of childhood trauma, grief and loss, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, or major life transitions. Others feel stuck—uncertain about what’s next or how to move forward. Wherever you find yourself, you deserve a space where your experiences are validated and your healing is supported. My mission is to help you reconnect with your strengths, rediscover your voice, and move toward the best version of yourself. Therapy can be a powerful pathway to insight, relief, and growth—a place where you don’t need to have everything figured out. Instead, it offers room to explore, question, heal, and gradually build the life you want with guidance and support. I offer an honest, compassionate, and relatable approach to therapy. My goal is to create a safe, grounded environment where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and empowered. I tailor each session to your individual needs and goals, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) along with integrative, client-centered approaches. This flexibility allows me to meet you where you are and support you as you move toward where you want to be. Through my work in diverse clinical settings, I’ve learned that no two healing journeys are alike. Your story is uniquely your own—and your therapy should reflect that. I’m committed to walking alongside you, at your pace, using strategies that align with your values, strengths, and lived experience. Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, but together, we’ll navigate challenges, uncover your resilience, and build tools that foster clarity, confidence, and peace. I’m honored to support you in whatever comes next.

Hi I am Kao, I firmly believe that as humans we have an innate desire for growth and balance. Unfortunately, often we physically respond to ingrained negative cues and messages that get stuck in our body. Many times these old cues manifest themselves in our body as anxiety, depression, and other trauma responses. It can feel like we are living life just trying to cope with the loudness of these negative messages. What if instead of just gaining tools to “cope” with these trauma responses, we could eliminate them all together? How might your life look? My hope is that in our work together we will be able to address wounds and move towards healing so that you don’t have to “cope” anymore. Instead you can thrive and have a sense of self-awareness that brings constant peace and clarity.

Therapy is my passion! I absolutely love to watch my clients grow and change before my eyes. Hi, I’m Lois, Mother of 3 amazing boys, business owner and lover of life. I have learned so much through my years of working with clients individually, in groups and with families and couples. What I have learned is that as humans we are resilient! We have been given this life to have joy and life lessons. I have been honored to guide and encourage many clients over the last 20 years. It is my life purpose to help others especially when they cannot see the abundance and joy that is around us. I use many different modalities to guide clients on their journey. One of my main modalities is EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS) which are both very effective healing modalities. I'm always excited to learn new techniques and offer a variety of modalities to assist my clients in their healing journey. I also use short-term solution-focused therapy, CBT, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness among others to bring about change. I truly believe as a therapist I must do my own work, for I cannot take you to a place that I have not visited. I have done many years of my own therapy, attended healing retreats, participated in group therapy and attended 12 step meetings, writing and lots of self care!

I approach our first session with wanting to know what prompted you to book the session. This is because people usually book a therapy session with an issue in mind, or with a problem to solve. I assure you that if you are motivated to change your mindset and ready to work on yourself, that you will be able to feel more peaceful and calm with just one session, and you will leave knowing that you will be able to solve what is going on. We tend to be harsh and critical of ourselves thinking that will promote change when that only causes us to procrastinate and feel depression and anxiety. To address this I offer you my book endorsed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama on self-forgiveness- find it on Amazon and in Barnes & Noble, "The Chiron Effect: Healing Our Core Wounds through Astrology, Empathy, and Self-Forgiveness." I offer you my podcast- "All Things Therapy," which can be found on iTunes and Spotify. It is a mental health and wellness-focused podcast with over 425 episodes related to mental health, fitness, and personal transformation for you to dig into. I intend that the show augments therapy and gives you a resource to look for topics you are facing in the show titles and then listen and apply what is offered and see how that changes things for you.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Board Certified Registered Art Therapist. I received my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Notre Dame de Namur University. Classes in the MFT program also met the requirements for the American Art therapy Association for art therapy. I am also a Christian and provide therapy from that perspective for those who want their faith to be a part of the therapy process. I believe our spiritual well-being and relationship with God can have a significant influence on all other areas of our lives including mental health. I have a holistic approach to therapy looking at how mental, physical, and spiritual health impact each other in both positive and negative ways. I have experience in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) supporting clients in gaining a healthier relationship with their thoughts and feelings. Hi there, I'm Edward, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have a diverse background in my years working in the mental health field which includes having two Masters in Social Work and Criminal Justice. I have worked with families, individuals, and couples, with issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, thought disorders, and emotional disturbances. I have worked in a variety of different settings that have helped me develop a unique skill set in addressing overall mental health. Some examples include outpatient/inpatient care, hospice, the prison system, and the education system. My approach is collaborative and I strive to make my patients feel understood and heard throughout the process. I often explain to them that even though I may be the professional, they are the professionals of their own lives and it's just an honor to play a small part in supporting them.

Hello there, I'm Susie. I'm a bilingual therapist who speaks English and Spanish. I have specialized training in Art Therapy and EMDR. In my work with individuals and groups, I am compassionate, collaborative, culturally sensitive and creative. I believe one of the bravest things you can do is begin to understand your own story. As humans, we create patterns and behaviors that may no longer be helpful for us when navigating relationships in our life. This can feel stressful, helpless, and anxiety provoking. Having space to acknowledge and talk about what is happening in your life can help relieve the intensity of those feelings and can help create new patterns and behaviors.
