LMFT, 6 years of experience
Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Art Therapist. I received my Masters from Loyola Marymount University and have been practicing for 6 years. I have experience working with clients of all ages, but I am truly passionate about helping transitioned age youth (17-25), adults, and the elderly. I hope to be a part of your therapeutic journey using different modalities to assist with your treatment—to empower you to find solutions by helping create individualized coping skills.
During our first session, I hope to get to know you better by gathering information to assess your needs. We will then identify treatment goals to work towards. This process would begin by exploring how your life may be more fulfilling or satisfying by recognizing the struggles and impairments, identifying the root cause of your challenges, and creating a plan that we can use towards measuring progress.
As a provider, I am empathetic, creative, and direct. I provide humanistic care and interventions.
I love working with individuals who are motivated and willing to do the work. I hope to provide lots of support and skills that can be utilized to reach therapeutic goals.

Sarah listens well, tracks issues well and is focused. Her ability to not get tangled up in the weeds of circumstance and to identify the client's psychological need revealed in the circumstances is well honed. She is able to zero in and identify for the client the psychological issue the circumstances reveal and articulate next steps to facilitate well being. I come away from my sessions with Sarah feeling movement forward; that I am making progress.
