Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Art Therapist. I received my Masters from Loyola Marymount University and have been practicing for 6 years. I have experience working with clients of all ages, but I am truly passionate about helping transitioned age youth (17-25), adults, and the elderly. I hope to be part of your therapeutic journey by using a variety of evidence-based approaches to support your treatment, empower you to find solutions, and help you develop individualized coping skills.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, I hope to get to know you better by gathering information to understand your concerns, strengths, and needs. Together, we will identify treatment goals and develop a plan tailored to your unique circumstances. This process begins by exploring areas of your life where you would like to experience greater fulfillment and satisfaction, recognizing current stressors and barriers, and identifying underlying factors contributing to these challenges.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a provider, I am empathetic, creative, and direct. I provide humanistic care and interventions.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with individuals who are motivated to engage in the therapeutic process and are committed to their personal growth. My goal is to provide meaningful support and practical skills to help clients achieve their therapeutic goals. I strive to create a collaborative, supportive environment where clients feel equipped to make lasting and meaningful positive changes in their lives.

Sarah is a compassionate, insightful and experienced therapist. We have quickly developed a relationship that is based on trust and her ability to unearth feelings and emotions I have hidden for many years. Her warmth and humor make it easy to talk about issues and concerns. I am motivated to practice the tools and strategies she offers and have experienced success very early in our relationship. I am grateful to work with Sarah on a weekly basis.

Only two appointments in and she has so far been like the other reviews mentioned. She listens intently even though I tend to talk a lot and take up a lot of the session time, I have a bad habit of over-explaining and answering her questions with tangential information but she never interrupts me or makes me feel like I'm wasting time. She is very professional with all information shared. Friendly and kind, definitely recommend.
