It's time for a change. If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, frustrated, or held back by self-doubt, perfectionism, ADHD-related challenges, or imposter syndrome, know that you do not have to keep living this way. Change is possible, and you don't have to figure it out on your own. The life you want is often closer than it feels, and taking the first step can make all the difference. I help leaders, athletes, and performers develop greater self-confidence, resilience, and self-awareness so they can perform at their best. Whether your goals involve improving your career, strengthening relationships, enhancing performance, becoming a more effective leader, or simply feeling more fulfilled in everyday life, I am passionate about helping people overcome the obstacles that stand in their way. My approach combines more than 20 years of experience in military mental health with a specialization in sport and performance psychology. This unique background allows me to understand challenges from multiple perspectives and tailor strategies to your specific needs. I recognize that success is not just about working hard; it is about understanding yourself, leveraging your strengths, and developing the skills necessary to thrive under pressure. Together, we will identify what is holding you back, build on what is already working, and create a practical plan to help you move forward with confidence. My goal is to provide a supportive, challenging, and results-oriented environment where you can develop the tools needed to create meaningful and lasting change. You have already taken an important step by exploring your options. The next step is deciding that your growth, well-being, and future are worth investing in. I invite you to take that step today by scheduling an appointment and beginning to build the life you want to live.
Our first step is to develop a clear understanding of your unique situation. Together, we will explore the challenges that brought you to therapy, the factors that may be contributing to them, and the goals you hope to achieve. This process is collaborative and tailored to your needs, whether you are seeking help with ADHD-related difficulties, anxiety, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, relationship concerns, life transitions, performance issues, or simply feeling stuck. During our conversations, you will have the opportunity to share your experiences, concerns, and questions in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment. We will take the time to identify patterns, strengths, obstacles, and resources that may be influencing your current circumstances. Rather than making assumptions, we will work together to develop a deeper understanding of what is happening and why. A key part of this process is ensuring that you leave with clarity. Therapy should not feel mysterious or confusing. I will answer your questions, explain relevant concepts, and help you understand how your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and life experiences may be connected. My goal is to provide practical insights that help you make sense of your challenges and identify meaningful opportunities for change. Once we have established a clear picture of your situation, we will create a personalized plan of action. This plan will be based on your goals, values, strengths, and priorities. Depending on your needs, it may include developing new coping skills, improving focus and organization, addressing self-critical thinking, strengthening relationships, processing difficult experiences, enhancing performance, or creating healthier habits and routines. Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process. As your needs evolve, we will regularly review your progress, adjust as needed, and ensure our work remains aligned with what matters most to you. The goal is to move beyond simply understanding the problem and toward taking meaningful, achievable steps that create lasting change. Whether you are facing a specific challenge or seeking greater fulfillment and effectiveness in your personal or professional life, we will help you gain insight, build practical skills, and develop a clear path forward.
One of the strengths I bring to therapy is my ability to help people feel comfortable, understood, and at ease. Many clients come into therapy carrying uncertainty, skepticism, embarrassment, or concerns about being judged. Others have spent years feeling misunderstood or believing they have to handle everything on their own. Creating a space where you can set those concerns aside and speak openly is one of my highest priorities. I believe meaningful change begins with trust. Before we can effectively address challenges, develop strategies, or solve problems, there needs to be a strong therapeutic relationship. While finding solutions is often the easier part of the process, those solutions rarely matter if they are offered before a genuine connection has been established. Advice without trust can feel hollow. Insight without safety can feel overwhelming. Lasting growth happens when people feel secure enough to be honest about what they are experiencing. My goal is to create an emotionally safe environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, struggles, and aspirations without fear of criticism or judgment. This includes the parts of yourself that may feel confusing, vulnerable, contradictory, or difficult to talk about. Whether you are navigating ADHD, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, relationship challenges, life stress, or personal growth, I want therapy to feel like a place where you can show up as your authentic self. Clients often tell me they appreciate my approachable, down-to-earth style. I strive to be genuine, curious, and engaged rather than distant or overly clinical. Therapy works best when it feels like a collaborative conversation between two people working toward a common goal. Together, we can explore difficult topics, make sense of complex experiences, and identify practical steps forward while maintaining respect, understanding, and connection. The trust we build becomes the foundation for everything else we do. It allows us to have honest conversations, challenge unhelpful patterns, celebrate progress, and work through setbacks when they occur. When people feel safe, they are more willing to take risks, consider new perspectives, and engage in self-reflection that leads to meaningful change. For me, cultivating that trust is not just part of the process; it is the process. Everything else grows from there. When a strong therapeutic relationship is in place, the work becomes more effective, more meaningful, and ultimately better able to create lasting change in your life.
Leaders, athletes, performers, and high-achieving professionals with ADHD-like traits often find themselves caught in a frustrating cycle: driven to excel, yet constantly questioning whether they are truly capable. They may struggle with focus, organization, follow-through, emotional regulation, or managing competing demands, while also battling perfectionism and a persistent fear of being “found out” as not good enough. Despite impressive accomplishments, imposter syndrome can leave them feeling like their success is due to luck rather than ability. These challenges can affect every area of life. Professionally, they may experience difficulty prioritizing tasks, maintaining consistency, meeting deadlines, or leading with confidence. Personally, they may feel overwhelmed by responsibilities, strained relationships, chronic self-criticism, or the pressure to keep up appearances. Many become trapped in patterns of overworking, procrastination, burnout, or relentless striving, believing that if they can just perform a little better, they will finally feel secure. Therapy can help you better understand how ADHD-related symptoms, perfectionism, and imposter syndrome interact, while developing practical strategies to improve performance, strengthen relationships, and build self-trust. The goal is not simply to become more productive, but to create a more sustainable and fulfilling life—one where success is measured by both achievement and well-being. By learning to manage distractions, challenge self-defeating beliefs, and leverage your unique strengths, you can move from merely coping to performing at your highest potential with greater confidence, clarity, and authenticity.
