In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
The treatment methods and tools I utilize
I am an eclectic therapist. I believe it is important to use various treatment modalities in order to meet the needs of a client. I use the following methods: Person-Centered DBT CBT Solution Focused
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My communication style is compassionate, understanding and also directive when needed. I do not shy away from the difficult questions that may need to be asked in order to work through barriers.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I enjoy working with a diverse population. As a multicultural individual, I am able to navigate cultural issues that could be a barrier for many individuals hesitant to try therapy as well as being unsure how one could benefit from therapy. Often times, clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed, hopeless, or simply untrusting of the therapy process. Together, we work on goals that make it possible for growth, trust and change.
