About me

Hi! I'm Chantal Guillen, a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my Masters degree from the University of Fresno and have been practicing for 7 years. I offer virtual-based therapy state-wide where I am committed to guiding individuals towards mental well-being and empowerment through support and a judgement-free space for you to be heard. With extensive experience in compassionate care for diverse populations, I aim to foster an environment where you can explore both strengths and any challenges you may be facing. My ultimate goal is to empower you to navigate life's stressors and complexities, as we foster the tools you need to thrive not just survive. I provide a wide range of experience helping Individuals navigate through various challenges, including the following: anxiety, depression, relationship/family issues, life transitions, and trauma.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we'll start with brief introductions as we learn more about each other and see if I am a good fit for you to support you through the intimate journey of therapy. My focus is to get to know you as a person, as well as the reasons you are seeking therapy, your goals/expectations for therapy, and your background, so that we can create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. Each individual is different; therefore this allows me to get to know you better and discuss which therapeutic style will be most beneficial to you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength as a therapist is my ability to facilitate healing and growth in clients by providing a safe, supportive, and empowering therapeutic environment. I value transparency and trust as we navigate through processing life’s stressors and challenges. As a clinician, it is my strong belief that a strong and fostered connection is essential to all clinician-client relationships.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My passion lies in supporting individuals (kids, teens, and adults) that are ready/eager to work on healing and making changes to improve their quality of life but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality.
