(she/her)
Hello, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California. I received my Masters from Cal State Fullerton in 2017. I have experience working with people of various backgrounds including but not limited to: adults, young adults, adolescents, children, parents, professionals, immigrants, POC, LGBTQ+, Hispanic/Latinx community, multi-generational families, and many more. I can be a listening ear and guide you towards your goals.
In our first session together, we'll start with introductions, getting to know each other, then once you are comfortable, you can share the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
My strengths are my ability to connect with others and my overall good intent for your well-being.
Client's who may have a longing for more joy, connection, and freedom from painful symptoms like anxiety and depression. Client's who are ready change any unhelpful thinking patterns or habits to learn to understand and thoughtfully navigate their emotional world. Issues I commonly work with include healing unresolved childhood wounds, anxiety, depression, parenthood, trauma, low self-esteem, addiction, strained relationships, work/life balance, and immigrant/cultural related issues.

From the very beginning Melody was very open minded and actually listened and payed attention to really understand and be aware of my situation. I never felt judged even when the decisions I ended up making weren't the most ideal. She was very solution oriented, direct and honest with her advise which helped me see things clearly. At the end of the day she really helped me grow and really overcome many of my fears. I truly appreciate her as my therapist and will miss having sessions with her.
