Hi, I’m Leila — a trauma-informed therapist who blends evidence-based tools with deep human understanding. If you’re feeling stuck in self-doubt, overthinking, relationship patterns you can’t shake, or a lingering sense that something is off deep inside — you’re not broken. You’re just carrying more than your nervous system was designed to hold alone. And I’d be honored to help you begin releasing it. My approach goes beyond surface-level talk therapy. I integrate EMDR, somatic techniques, inner child work, and attachment-based healing to help you access what traditional coping tools can’t always reach — the root of your pain. Many of my clients struggle with anxious attachment, chronic self-criticism, or feeling like they have to “perform” for love, worth, or belonging. Therapy with me is a space to shed those roles, meet yourself with compassion, and slowly rebuild a life rooted in clarity, confidence, and real inner peace. I welcome humor, spiritual insight, raw honesty, and the full complexity of who you are. Let’s get to work — not to fix you, but to free you.

Hi. I am the daughter of immigrants which motivated me to study Multicultural community based psychology. I have worked in many different settings from community mental health to private practice. Currently I am the director of a consultation unit for youth and young adults in the foster care system. I really enjoy working with people on how to maximize their potential to create happier lives; sometimes this is achieved through more traditional therapy while other times this may require life coaching. I do not believe that therapy needs to be a continuous life long process, but rather a process individuals move in and out of at different stages of their lives.

I approach our first session with wanting to know exactly where you are and what you need today. This is because people usually book a therapy session with an issue in mind, or with a problem to solve. I assure you that if you are motivated to change your mindset and ready to work on yourself, that you will feel more peaceful and calm with just one session, and you will leave knowing that you will be able to solve what is going on. We tend to be harsh and critical of ourselves thinking that will promote change when that only causes us to procrastinate and feel depression and anxiety. To address this I offer you my book endorsed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama on self-forgiveness- find it on Amazon and in Barnes & Noble, "The Chiron Effect: Healing Our Core Wounds through Astrology, Empathy, and Self-Forgiveness." I offer you my podcast- "All Things Therapy," which can be found on iTunes and Spotify. It is a mental health and wellness-focused podcast with over 410 episodes for you to dig into.

The last four years have been challenging foor all of us. COVID came into our lives and altered the way we lived and worked. Many of us spent possibly a year or two in partial isolation, seeing only our closest friends and family members. Now, it is 2025 and we are wanting to get our old style lives back, but this transition has been difficult to accomplish. So far, 2025 has not been a peaceful year. My goal will be to work with you and assist you to accepting these fast paced modifications to how we navigate them Anxiety, both social and life skill focused, along with depression, loss of self confidence or self esteem and not knowing where to begin. Many of us have anger over loss time, along with feelings or irritation at ourselves and others about how to go about putting the peices together which was once our true idenitity. Now, as you look in the mirroe, you want to begin to be the brave person you once were. You want to be social, travel and feel the joy again that life used to offer. My work and yours also, is to help you find your confidence to begin your post COVID life. COVID amy be here to stay, but as long as all the necessary precautions are taken, I understand two years is time enough to lose.

Hello fellow traveler, Life that is lived to the fullest is our greatest adventure. Sometimes, we get smacked with a roadblock. You can do this. You can be successful in moving through the struggle. You are not alone. I care, I will listen, I will respond, and I know what I am doing. Let me walk with you and apply my clinical knowledge as you gather new life hacks to facilitate your great journey. I am a psychologist with over 20 years of experience in the field of mental health across all levels of care. I have provided Individual, couples, family, and group counseling. I have spent a large portion of my life facilitating overcoming the struggle with anxiety or pushing through depression, or one of the many emotionally debilitating mental health issues. Psychological and emotional pain is real, yet it can be managed, and we can heal.

25 years as a clinical social worker has taught me that finding the right therapist is like trying on a pair of shoes. It has to be the right fit for you to start the journey of self-exploration. I believe in a strength based approach, where we not only explore the issues that brought you to therapy, but we explore how to expand the things that bring you joy and happiness. As Dr. Seuss once said, “life is a great balancing act” and he could not have been more right. My practice focuses on individual therapy for adolescents, and adults. My areas of expertise include depression, mood disorders, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, ADHD, Trauma, and transitional issues of work, relationships, etc. Client’s describe me as genuine and authentic, supportive, strength based, straight forward, and always keeping hope alive.

I’ll help you uncover what’s really driving the patterns you want to break, give you tools to manage emotions in real time, and help you build relationships, habits, and self-belief that actually last.

I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed clinical psychologist. I received my doctorate in clinical psychology from Rosemead Graduate School of Psychology, an APA-accredited program, in 2008 and became licensed in 2010. I like to delve deep into our attachment styles developed early in life, and explore how it is impacting our current functioning. I believe, and research shows, that the relationship between the therapist and client is the biggest predictor of change. In light of that, I think the therapeutic process can offer corrective experiences, helping us develop a more secure attachment style to navigate through life with.

My name is Farbod Khalafi. I am a second generation Persian-American. My own background continues to shape the way I approach this work. As the child of Persian immigrant parents raised in Orange County, California, I often felt caught between two cultures—never quite fitting into either. Therapy helped me better understand those experiences and how they impacted me. That personal insight continues to inform how I show up for my clients—with cultural humility, empathy, and curiosity.

My Approach is non judge mental and client centered. I am passionate about helping others grow through mental health and realize that life can be challenging and creating change can be difficult. I have been providing individuals with mental health treatment for 10 years and find my clinical strength is with individuals who struggle with thinking patterns, anxiety, depression, anger, parenting, and marriage discourse. I focus a lot on thinking patterns, emotions, behaviors and their connections as well as building insight and awareness into thoughts and behaviors that create barriers in life or sustain challenges. I utilize CBT, DBT, EFT, SF, and Narrative therapy for the most part and also focus on the nervous system/polyvagal to assist with calming the body and rewiring what it has learned through distress. My objective is to create an atmosphere of acceptance, understanding, and to allow clients to feel safe while processing their thoughts and feelings while gently providing psycho education and techniques to assist.

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and have been providing mental health treatment for eight years both in private practice and at a mental health facility. I’ve been privileged to have worked with thousands of people from different backgrounds and I believe that pain in all its forms can be a catalyst that leads us toward action and connection - whether that’s within the mind, out in the world or both.
