Whether you are struggling with sadness, finding the energy to do things in life, low self-esteem, anxiety, anger, trauma, unhealthy coping, or even masking your emotions; you are capable and you can heal. I truly believe that most people will do well when they know how to do well. It's hard to ask for help and it's hard to accept the help. We just get stuck in the quick fix, easiest option, or the least emotionally draining route. My style towards therapy is direct, relational, and authentic. I won't sugar coat things or tell you what you "want" to hear, and I hope the same from you. This is about you and for you.
I am a compassionate mental health therapist who works collaboratively with clients to create a supportive, respectful space for growth and healing. I use evidence-based approaches such as CBT, trauma-focused CBT, and solution-focused therapy to help individuals build practical coping skills, reconnect with their strengths, and work toward meaningful change. My goal is to help clients feel heard, empowered, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges.
My name is pronounced ahn-KEE-tha and I use she/her pronouns. I’m a queer woman of color and the eldest daughter of Indian immigrants, raised in the Midwest and living on unceded Ohlone land in the Bay Area for over a decade. I have my BA in Psychology and Gender Studies from the University of Michigan and my MSW from UC Berkeley. I’ve been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in CA since 2020.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist from California, currently based in the SF Bay Area. I received my Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from San Francisco State University. I specialize in working with Complex Trauma and I have been in private practice for 5 years. I have almost 10 years of clinical experience working with clients from various backgrounds and in various settings, from school-based sites to community mental health.
I’m a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults navigating anxiety, ADHD-related challenges, depression, relationship stress, and life transitions. Many of the individuals I work with are thoughtful and self-aware but feel stuck in patterns they can’t quite shift — whether that’s overthinking, people-pleasing, difficulty setting boundaries, or feeling overwhelmed by competing responsibilities.
Many of the adults I work with feel stuck or overwhelmed, even if they’re not entirely sure why. They may struggle with overthinking, people-pleasing, setting boundaries, or balancing the many demands in their lives. Therapy becomes a space to slow down, gain clarity, and begin making intentional shifts.
My style is collaborative, structured, and supportive. I believe therapy should feel both grounding and practical. In our work together, we’ll explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck while also building skills you can apply in everyday life. I aim to create a space that feels calm, respectful, and focused — where insight and action go hand in hand.
I approach therapy with warmth and clarity, helping clients better understand themselves while developing tools that support healthier relationships, stronger boundaries, and greater confidence in their decisions.

Welcome!
My name is Nathan Taylor and I’d like to thank you for taking the time to look over my profile and to learn a little about me as a therapist. Choosing a therapist can be challenging (and maybe even more than a little anxiety provoking!) and it is important to take the time to find someone that you feel may be a good fit to work with towards helping you achieve your goals in therapy. With that in mind, I wanted to share a little about myself and my own path as a therapist. Should you feel like we may be a good fit, I genuinely look forward to meeting and hopefully working with you.
Each of our own personal experiences, dreams, goals, hopes, and needs, both in life and in therapy are unique and individual. You may know exactly what those are for you, or you may feel like you are lost and overwhelmed. Either way, my role is to help you along your own path. To help define what you are struggling with and to take the steps that are needed to work through those struggles and challenges. Whatever your reason is for seeking therapy, know that it can be an incredibly valuable tool towards finding what it is that you are looking for.
I’ve been in the mental health field in one way or another for well over 20 years, working with children, families, couples, and adults, both in the public sector and in private practice. While I started my career working with children in group homes, foster care, and in the legal system, my passion as a therapist has taken me in many directions. I’ve worked for many years as both a clinical supervisor for new and learning therapists and as an upper-level manager/administrator in the public mental health sector. Most recently, in addition to my work in private practice I ran several types of community mental health programs, both outpatient and inpatient, for a large behavioral health company providing mental healthcare to adults. I became a licensed therapist in 2008, yet I’m constantly learning, growing, and developing every day in order to become the best therapist that I can be. It’s my belief that it is an honor and privilege to work with people as a therapist to help each person in the way that they need.
Over the years, I’ve received several advanced trainings and certifications that I’ve pursued to obtain the skill sets needed to specialize in a few areas that I believe are tremendously effective and helpful to those I work with. I’ve found that EMDR, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, and Hypnotherapy are the types of therapy work and interventions that are not only backed by research as highly effective, but also really resonate with those that I work with. As with anything in therapy, there is no one-size fits all approach, and I find it most valuable to help create a treatment approach in complete collaboration with you.
As an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) trained therapist, I've found this evidenced-based approach to therapy to be particularly effective with people for a wide variety of reasons, and as such EMDR is my current primary specialty. As EMDR therapy has gained a significant amount of positive attention lately, this may be something you're familiar with, heard about and would like to know more, or it's all together new to you. I'd be more than happy to share additional information with you about EMDR should you be interested in learning more.
Again, thank you for taking the time to learn a bit more about me. You’ve found the courage to get this far, let’s see how much further we can get together!

Hello! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in California. I received my master's in 2014 and have been practicing for 11 years. I help adults manage their stressors in life and help them reduce their symptoms to be successful in their own life. I have experience working with children from 4 years old to older adults of the age of 80 years old.
We come to therapy to understand and solve our most complex personal challenges. When suffering goes deep enough, therapy is an intuitive response to problems that are emotionally complex and cannot be solved by our ordinary methods. Therapy alleviates our isolation by giving us the specialized and dedicated attention of a therapist. Therapy restores or kindles confidence in our ability to make it through difficult times. Lastly, it gives us some emotional distance, some sense of freedom, from the at times consuming turmoil of our personal lives by stimulating a deeper or broader understanding.
I am not a passive presence in the room (or on the screen). I listen carefully for understanding and I tend to interact - openly questioning, searching, and challenging. My roots are psychodynamic and comtemplative, though I tailor my work to each client's unique needs. My personal style is warm, open, and engaging.
A particular interest of mine is the relationship between psychological growth and spiritual development. As a long time meditation practitioner, I am drawn to ancient spiritual traditions and to how they can inform and deepen our hectic and restless modern lives.
Are you able to show up as your authentic self in every space you enter? Are you feeling stuck and having difficulty in many areas of your life? Are you trying your best, but still not getting the results you want? Whether it be a life transition or an issue that has been bubbling up for a long time and is about to explode, I invite you to partner up with me in your healing journey. You deserve to talk to someone who sees and understands you without judgement. A therapist who "gets you" AND provides a confidential space to reflect, learn, and shift can be the thing that makes a difference. Our sessions will create a brave space for you to look in the mirror, let your emotions out and become aware of any patterns that contribute to your life and mental health challenges. You get to decide what changes or shifts you want to make. You choose when and how to center your wellness. I will guide you, hold space for you and teach you about honoring your capacity with boundaries. I believe it is possible to create the life that you want and deserve. Working with me will get you a bilingual LCSW that is culturally centered and has over 19 years of clinical experience to offer you. My approach is holistic, strength-based and centered around uplifting you and helping you connect to any ancestral wisdom that can support your journey. My work is rooted in Liberation Psychology and I always have a Social Justice framework.
Hi. I’m Dr. Kimberly, a licensed professional counselor with a Ph.D. in Health Psychology. I have experience treating adults in group and individual settings, utilizing an eclectic assortment of techniques and therapies. My areas of interest are anxiety and mood disorders, including depression and bipolar disorder. My motto is “carpe diem” (seize the day), and I love working with people to help find solutions while encouraging each person to seize each day as a fresh start.
I do not provide couple's therapy. I do not provide therapy to individuals with personality disorders.
The last four years have been challenging for all of us. COVID came into our lives and altered the way we lived and worked. Many of us spent possibly a year or two in partial isolation, seeing only our closest friends and family members. Now, it is 2025 and we are wanting to get our old style lives back, but this transition has been difficult to accomplish. So far, 2025 has not been a peaceful year. You may believe you have not grown in the past 2-3 years, lost confidence and become more anxious. My goal is to assist you in believing in yourself again. Your negative self talk needs to be replaced with positive affirmations, thoughts and actions.
Anxiety, both social and life skill focused, along with depression, loss of self confidence or self esteem, and not understanding how these negative beliefs began. Many of us have anger over lost time, along with irritation.
Now, as you look in the mirror, you want to begin to be the brave person you once were. You want to be social, travel and feel the joy again that life used to offer.
My work and yours also, is to help you find your confidence to begin the life you thought you lost.
Please feel free to contact me so we can begin your new journey.
Hello, my name is Vanessa Estrada Baron, and I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master's degree in Counseling from California State University, Fullerton. I identify as a first-generation Latina, cisgender woman. I'm passionate about working with BIPOC families, and individuals. Additionally, I am an ally to the LGBTQIA+ and undocumented/DACAmented communities. I hope we can work together in finding meaning and feeling satisfied with where your life is heading.
I utilize a range of evidence-based therapies, including person-centered therapy, Cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy with an anti-racist and anti-oppressive approach. These approaches allow us to build a therapeutic connection and give us a roadmap in this therapy journey. As we work together, there may be some wounds that are uncovered brought on by childhood trauma, intergeneration trauma, societal injustices, or any other significant events that you’d be willing to explore. I hope to provide a safe space to process your feelings and would be honored to be a tool for you.
Aside from being a therapist, I am a wife, I am a mother to a three-year-old daughter, I am a daughter of two immigrant parents, I am a sister to a brother and sister. Some of my self-care includes hiking, playing video games, reading, taking baths, and spending time with my parents. I am looking forward to meeting you! Asking for help is not easy, so if you are struggling with anxiety, depression, a recent loss, anger, internal or external conflict, or you’re looking to find meaning, I can already tell your resilience!
Are you struggling in living your best life? Do you feel ‘off’ and not sure why? Having difficulties in your interpersonal relationships at home/work?
Is the past keeping you feeling stuck?
I will help identify and explore barriers keeping you feel ‘stuck’ in life. We’ll work together in identifying what is keeping you from living an authentic and fulfilling life.
I will work with you in developing healthy coping strategies and tools in order to enrich your everyday life and overall functioning. This can be with family, friends, or in whatever capacity you’re struggling. We can identify how anxiety and depressive symptomolgy presents. How you currently deal with interpersonal and behavioral issues and develop new healthy coping strategies.
Parisa Gallinger, Psy.D., LMFT
I hold a doctorate in psychology and am certified by the California Board as a marriage and family therapist working with individuals, families, and couples. My mission is to create a supportive space where we can face fears with compassion, courageously embrace openness, and find relief in human connections.
Our sense of identity can be in crisis due to the burdensome societal expectations placed on us.
So much of what I love about my work as a therapist and faculty member at the Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology, where I teach clinical psychology graduate courses, is getting to know people and helping them through life, one step at a time, no matter who they are or where they are on their path.
I am a dedicated therapist and strong advocate for growth, healing, and wellness. I support my patients journey to wellness by looking deeply into the whole person and the impacts of social demands/expectations, stress, lived experience, circumstance, relationship, shame, and trauma on those I work with. I have immense passion for supporting people with self discovery, centering the selves and healing.
I specialize in treating high-level anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, infertility, and relationship difficulties. As your therapist, I tailor my approach to match the client's needs for continuous change, symptom relief, growth, and ignite personal change.
I always had a passion for therapy. I knew at 7 years old this was my calling. I went on to study Sociology in my undergraduate years and went to the University of California, Santa Barbara. I then went on to get my Master's degree in Psychology from J.F.K University and graduated in 2008. In addition to my Master’s degree, I have an added emphasis of Somatic Psychology which is: ‘the study of the mind/body interface, the relationship between our physical matter and our energy, the interaction of our body structures with our thoughts and actions’. I pull from a multitude of theories and coaching techniques.
Therapy can be long-term or goal-oriented with me. I find both have great advantages and I let the client guide me on that. I’m truly invested in our relationship and care deeply when working with clients.
I work in Private Practice and have been a Clinical Supervisor for a Non-profit in the Bay Area. I appreciate doing private practice since I can have a deep, meaningful relationship that can help empower my clients and foster change.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 9 years of experience working with adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. I provide a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and challenges at their own pace.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based techniques. I help clients understand patterns that keep them feeling stuck, develop practical coping skills, and build emotional flexibility so they can respond to life’s challenges with greater confidence and clarity.
I believe therapy should feel both supportive and empowering. My goal is to help clients gain insight, strengthen resilience, and make meaningful changes that align with their values and improve overall well-being.

I invite you to come with me on a journey of your own choosing where we will walk together in darkness to find the light you’ve been seeking. Whether it’s life’s little annoying stressors or more complex issues, as a trauma survivor myself, I know firsthand what this is like and wouldn’t wish it on anyone. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of CA. I provide an enjoyable environment, where clients feel comfortable talking and opening up. I can be funny by utilizing humor, but ultimately, I take pride in my work and want my clients to feel good about attending therapy. Self-care is also very important and I will ALWAYS remind you of this during our sessions. I am looking forward to working with you and tackling these goals and obstacles together! :-)
I began my career in social work after having two sons with Autism and witnessing firsthand the challenges and injustices families can face. This inspired me to help others feel supported and to ensure they have someone in their corner rooting for them. I became a mental health provider because I am passionate about helping people regain their lives, find hope for better days, and overcome difficult situations and traumatic events. Life can have ups and downs, and it’s okay to ask for help and say, “this is hard.”
I am an EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist and an EMDRIA Approved Consultant-in-Training. I use compassion-focused, trauma-informed, client-centered, humanistic techniques but do not shy away from utilizing cognitive behavioral and dialectic behavior therapy skills when applicable.
Over human history, people have mostly lived in close-knit communities. This has eroded with the advances in transportation and technology. Most people have lost much of the social support our forebearers enjoyed. Mental Health Professionals have taken on this role in their respective communities and are an excellent resource for you to realize your strengths and improve your well-being. When your car breaks down you take it to a mechanic. When your tooth hurts you see a dentist. When your mental health can use a “tune-up,” see a Mental Health Professional!

Drawing from evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment-Based Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based approaches, I work with clients to uncover patterns, build insight, and develop practical tools for lasting change.
At the heart of my work is the belief that healing happens within a safe, trusting relationship. I strive to create a space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported—whether you’re working through a difficult period or seeking deeper self-understanding and growth.
