Hi! I'm a LCSW and psychotherapist based in California. I received my master's degree from the Cal State San Bernardino and have been practicing for 8 years. I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder and trauma. I am fluent in Spanish and can provide therapy sessions in Spanish. It is my privilege to help pave a new way forward in your life and relationships. I truly enjoy my work as a therapist and look forward to meeting you!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I provide a calm, secure setting where you can freely share your concerns. In our first session together, we'll start with an in-dept assessment to get to know you and your story, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My therapy approach is client-centered and incorporates a holistic focus. I utilize a combination of evidence-based practices tailored to your unique needs. I explore how upbringing, early relationships, and the larger systems in society impact our identities as individuals. I’ll support you to uncover the patterns of your unhelpful beliefs, underlying emotions, and how you relate with people.

My treatment methods

Brainspotting

I have training in Brainspotting, which is a somatic-based approach used to treat trauma, to help regulate the nervous system, rewire neural pathways, and restore mind and body. I utilize this approach to support my clients to access their intuitive healing mechanisms, resources, and inner wisdom to lead to profound healing and recovery. It is also used to treat the harmful impact of past experiences and recent traumatic experiences, as well as to support creatives and athletes to improve performance.

Attachment-based

This method is helpful to address the limiting effects of negative early attachment experiences and to strengthen the capacity for secure relationships.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help my clients identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

I use Emotional freedom technique (EFT) to help clients release emotional distress.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I utilize mindfulness practices that include present moment awareness, meditation, and breathing exercises.
