I know taking the step to seek therapy isn't always easy, so I applaud you for taking the first step to creating a change in your life. I received my Masters from the Texas State University and I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas. I have worked with adults with various symptoms over the last 9 years.
My aim is to provide a supportive non judgmental space and create a collaborative alliance to help deal with difficult emotions, experiences, relationships you might be facing. I will ask background questions to get an understanding and history on our first session and answer any questions you may have.
Having being a therapist for 9 years, I tailor my approach and session to fit your needs. I am here to help you navigate the issue bringing you to therapy, and to give you tools and increased self awareness so that you can navigate any potential issues that might arise after our sessions together.
My experience includes working with young adults, adults, and seniors that have symptoms of depression, PTSD, and anxiety, relational and self esteem issues.
My approach to therapeutic treatment is to first create a safe space. We will focus on today's problems with insight into the underlying issues from which these problems arose. Your desired accomplishments are the number one priority of my sessions. Using an integrative approach of cognitive behavioral therapy, strength based and person centered, I tailor my approach and sessions to fit your needs.
