Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas, as well as a Certified Life Coach. I have been assisting individuals and groups for over 20 years. "Believe you can, and you are halfway there" is one of my favorite quotes. In working with clients, I strive to help them believe in themselves, and then support them in taking steps to get them where they want to be.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then discuss the specific challenges you're facing. Together, we will create a plan to work toward in our additional sessions. You will end the session knowing the first action you will take to begin to address your concerns.
Applying cognitive behavioral theory and neuropsychological principles, I help clients identify and maximize their strengths, as well as identify and minimize their obstacles, so they can move forward.
We can all feel stuck, overwhelmed, discouraged or disconnected. At those times, the benefit of a supportive, objective person to work with is beyond measure. During counseling sessions, I strive to be that person to help each client sort out the thoughts, feelings and obstacles that may be getting in the way, so they can begin to rediscover hope and develop the skills to move forward.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In sessions I focus on the strengths in each individual, helping them to learn how to use those strengths to face their unique challenges. Shifting mindsets and examining old beliefs are addressed. New coping skills are tailored to fit each client, their lives and what will be most effective for them.

Kellie is great for taking all my chaotic and confused thoughts and sifting through them and building a plan and strategy that could help me move towards a solution.
