New to Grow
Reaching out for therapy takes courage, and my goal is to make the process feel approachable from the very first session. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 14 years of experience helping adolescents and adults navigate ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine conversation built on trust, curiosity, and collaboration. Rather than simply listening or giving advice, I work alongside clients to better understand what's keeping them stuck while developing practical strategies that fit their lives. My approach integrates evidence-based therapies with compassion, humor when appropriate, and a focus on long-term growth.
Our first session is about getting to know you, understanding your goals, and identifying the challenges you'd like to work on. We'll explore your personal history at a pace that feels comfortable, discuss what you're hoping to gain from therapy, and begin developing a plan together. You'll have plenty of opportunity to ask questions, and my goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of how we can work together toward your goals.
Clients often tell me they appreciate my calm, approachable style and my ability to balance empathy with honest feedback. I strive to create a space where you feel accepted while also helping you recognize patterns that may be holding you back. I enjoy working with people who want to better understand themselves, strengthen relationships, build confidence, and develop practical skills they can use long after therapy ends.
My ideal clients are adults, young adults, and teenagers who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or exhausted by anxiety, ADHD, autism, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, or major life transitions. Many are high-achieving students, professionals, or parents who have spent years trying to manage everything on their own. They value honest conversations, practical strategies, and a collaborative approach to therapy. They're ready to better understand themselves, build healthier patterns, and create meaningful, lasting change.
ACT helps you stop struggling with difficult thoughts and emotions and instead focus on living a life that's meaningful to you. Together, we'll learn practical skills to handle stress, anxiety, or self-doubt while taking steps toward the person you want to become.
Our early relationships shape how we see ourselves and connect with others. I help clients understand how past experiences may be influencing their current relationships, emotions, and patterns so they can build healthier, more secure connections.
CBT helps identify unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we'll explore practical ways to challenge those patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and create lasting change in your daily life.
Sometimes our current struggles are connected to experiences and patterns we've carried for years without realizing it. I help clients better understand those patterns, gain insight into why they developed, and use that understanding to make meaningful changes in the present.
I recognize that past experiences can have a lasting impact on emotions, relationships, and the nervous system. My approach emphasizes safety, collaboration, and respect, helping you move at a pace that feels comfortable while building skills to support healing and resilience.
