Sometimes the hardest part isn't realizing something needs to change—it's taking that first step. Reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when you've been carrying so much on your own. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel comfortable enough to be yourself, explore what's been weighing on you, and discover practical tools that help you move forward with greater confidence and peace. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Trinity University and my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Saint Mary’s University, both in San Antonio. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have experience supporting children, teens, adults, and couples through life's challenges, with specialized training in grief and trauma. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and have completed advanced training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Trauma and Grief Component Therapy for Adolescents (TGCTA). I am also currently pursuing certification in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders to further support individuals throughout pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition to parenthood.
During our first session, we'll focus on understanding what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from the process. You'll have the opportunity to share your concerns, ask questions, and discuss your goals.
I believe there isn't a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Every client brings a unique story, so I tailor each session to meet your individual needs and goals. Building a trusting therapeutic relationship is important to me, and I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable sharing openly, asking questions, and working at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we'll focus on building insight, developing practical skills, and creating meaningful change.
I enjoy working with individuals who are looking for a supportive, collaborative space to better understand themselves and navigate life's challenges. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, experiencing a season of transition, working through difficult experiences, or simply looking to grow, my goal is to meet you where you are. Together, we'll build on your strengths, explore what matters most to you, and create an approach that reflects your unique needs and goals.

I work with a person-centered approach, as I value an individual's uniqueness and empower them to make informed choices that they feel is best for themselves.
I’ve been using CBT throughout my counseling career. It helps clients challenge reoccurring unhealthy thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less stressed life.
I utilize trauma-informed care with each client. I work to understand and recognize how certain experiences affect each client in order to alleviate any negative reminders.
