New to Grow
I am a proud graduate of Texas A&M University–Kingsville with a strong passion for helping others and building meaningful connections. I am dedicated to supporting individuals through compassion, professionalism, and empathy, with a commitment to making a positive impact in every interaction. I enjoy creating supportive environments where people feel heard, valued, and empowered to grow and achieve their personal goals.
You can expect a comfortable, warm, and safe space where you’re free to share your thoughts, concerns, and needs at your own pace. The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other, talk about what brings you in, and begin exploring what you’d like to gain from our work together. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out—just showing up is enough.
I integrate CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and other evidence-based interventions in a way that feels engaging and down-to-earth. I believe therapy doesn’t have to feel stiff or intimidating—so I bring authenticity, humor, and curiosity into the room while maintaining a strong clinical foundation. My goal is to help clients feel comfortable being themselves while doing meaningful, growth-oriented work.
I prefer to work with adults in individual therapy because I value the depth, insight, and collaborative nature that often comes with adult counseling. I enjoy helping adults navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships, stress management, and personal growth in a one-on-one setting where we can build a strong therapeutic alliance and focus on individualized goals. Individual therapy allows me to tailor interventions to each client’s unique experiences and support meaningful, long-term change. At the same time, I am also open to working with adolescents and recognize the importance of providing support during those formative years. I understand that adolescents face unique emotional, social, and developmental challenges, and I am committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where they can build coping skills, increase self-awareness, and feel heard and understood.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy can help clients recognize the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I have used CBT techniques to support clients in identifying cognitive distortions, challenging negative thought patterns, and developing healthier coping strategies. Through this structured, goal-oriented intervention, people can build insight, improve emotional regulation, and increase confidence in managing daily stressors and symptoms.
