About me

I am a therapist dedicated to creating safe, supportive spaces where healing can take root. Drawing on trauma-informed care, CBT, and person-centered approaches, I help clients navigate challenges with clarity and compassion. My work is grounded in cultural sensitivity and an understanding of how relationships shape our well-being. Together, we'll build pathways towards resilience, balance, self-discovery, and full integration. I believe that culture cures and history heals and I am open to nuance and I know that holding space for human beings to determine their own healing paths is paramount.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming space where I listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and help clarify your goals. My style is warm and direct, I offer honesty, safety, and care as we begin building trust and a plan for your healing with my years of experience and expertise in mind, yet rooted in softness and flexibility.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths are creating a safe, affirming space, bringing cultural awareness and honesty into our time, and helping clients identify goals while making real progress in a short time.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are individuals navigating concerns related to gender-based experiences, trauma, or any experience related to experiencing marginalization of any kind. I am especially attuned to supporting Black women and men working through issues of identity, safety, and their individual/personal relationships. The clients I serve are open to trying new approaches, honest with themselves, and ready to engage in the process of healing. I am best positioned to work with those seeking short-term therapy (up to 12 sessions) to identify challenges, set goals, and experience meaningful progress toward greater clarity, resilience, and well-being.
