Hi, I’m Rasha. I work with adolescents and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, life transitions, and identity-related stress. Many of the clients I support appear strong and capable on the outside but feel overwhelmed, overextended, or emotionally drained on the inside. I provide a supportive, culturally responsive space where you can show up fully as yourself — without having to filter, shrink, or explain your experiences. Whether you’re managing stress, healing from past experiences, or working through concerns related to racial or ethnic identity, I’m here to help you gain clarity, confidence, and emotional stability. Therapy with me is about real tools, real insight, and real growth.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

YOur first session is about creating safety and direction. We’ll talk about what’s been weighing on you, what you’d like to change, and what’s already working in your life. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to understand your background, stressors, and strengths so we can create a plan that feels manageable and personalized. You can expect a calm, supportive conversation — not an interrogation. By the end of our time together, you’ll have a clearer sense of your goals and how we’ll move forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Clients often tell me they appreciate that I balance warmth with structure. I’m compassionate and validating, but I also help you build practical tools you can actually use outside of session. I integrate trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral strategies, and strengths-based approaches to help you regulate emotions, shift unhelpful thought patterns, and build healthier habits. With over eight years of experience in mental health and leadership roles within public health settings, I understand both personal and systemic stressors that impact well-being — including cultural, racial, and environmental factors. I’m comfortable holding space for complex stories while keeping therapy focused and goal-oriented. If you’re ready to feel less overwhelmed, more grounded, and more confident in who you are, I would be honored to support you.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are thoughtful, self-aware (even if they’re struggling), and ready to gain a deeper understanding of themselves. They may be dealing with chronic overthinking, people-pleasing, burnout, unresolved trauma, or the pressure of constantly “holding it together.” I also work with individuals who are navigating racial or ethnic identity concerns — including experiences of discrimination, code-switching fatigue, cultural expectations, or feeling caught between identities. If you’re trying to make sense of who you are while balancing family, culture, career, or social pressures, we can work through that together. You don’t have to have the perfect words for what you’re feeling — just a willingness to explore.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to anxiety, depression, and behavioral difficulties. I support clients in developing practical coping strategies, restructuring cognitive distortions, and building emotional regulation skills. In my practice, CBT is often integrated with goal tracking and measurable treatment planning to ensure progress is observable and aligned with insurance-based care expectations.

Trauma Informed Care

I practice from a trauma-informed lens in all of my work, recognizing the impact of adverse experiences on emotional regulation, attachment, and behavioral patterns. I help clients build safety, stabilization, and coping capacity before processing traumatic material. My approach emphasizes empowerment, pacing, and nervous system regulation to prevent retraumatization while supporting sustainable healing.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I incorporate solution-focused techniques to help clients identify strengths, clarify goals, and build momentum toward change. This approach is especially effective for clients navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, or periods of feeling “stuck.” I use scaling questions, future-oriented dialogue, and strengths exploration to promote hope and forward movement.

Strength-Based

I incorporate solution-focused techniques to help clients identify strengths, clarify goals, and build momentum toward change. This approach is especially effective for clients navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, or periods of feeling “stuck.” I use scaling questions, future-oriented dialogue, and strengths exploration to promote hope and forward movement.

Psychoeducation

I regularly integrate psychoeducation to help clients understand the physiological and psychological components of their symptoms. I teach emotional regulation skills, distress tolerance techniques, communication tools, and executive functioning strategies. This structured support is especially beneficial for clients with anxiety, ADHD, trauma histories, or mood disorders.
