New to Grow
Hello, my name is Devin Jones and I'm a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in individual psychotherapy. Beginning therapy is an act of care for yourself and we could all do a little more in that regard. Maybe you have been carrying stress that feels impossible to shake, dealing with intrusive thoughts, or trying to find your footing with identity, relationships, or purpose. My role is to help you explore what’s beneath the surface and create meaningful and lasting change. In our sessions you'll find a space where your voice is heard and where you do not have to filter yourself.
You can expect sessions with me to feel collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded in authenticity. I’m not a distant note-taker, but I’m also not going to talk over your experience — I take my time to really understand what life feels like from your side. We’ll explore patterns with curiosity rather than judgment, and I’ll check in often to make sure the direction of therapy feels right for you. I bring a calm presence, a bit of humor when it fits, and a focus on helping you build insight that actually translates into your day-to-day life. My overall style is eclectic and client-centered.
What tends to stand out in my work is a balance of depth and approachability. I’m someone who can sit with the harder or more complicated parts of your experience without flinching or rushing to “fix” them, but I also keep the work practical and focused on your real life. I take your inner world seriously, and I respect your pace. I don’t assume I know what’s best for you — we figure it out together. Clients often tell me they feel genuinely seen and understood, not managed or analyzed from a distance. The space we create is one where you can be honest, even about the things you’ve never said out loud, and know that it will be met with steadiness, curiosity, and care.
I work well with adults and young adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, addiction, relationship patterns, or questions around identity and sexuality. Many of my clients come in feeling stuck between who they’ve been and who they want to be, or unsure how to make meaningful changes when old coping strategies no longer fit. I also have extensive experience supporting LGBTQ+ clients and those exploring sexual health, recovery, or rebuilding trust in themselves after hardship. Together, we focus on understanding your internal world with compassion, strengthening your sense of agency, and moving toward a life that feels more aligned, intentional, and grounded.
