have over 27 years of experience assisting clients with trauma, substance use, depression, anxiety, and codependency. My training includes EMDR for trauma and anxiety disorders, and I also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am certified to work with individuals experiencing substance use issues, as well as their affected families and friends. I can also complete driver's license evaluations for the state of Michigan.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

This is your basic 'talk therapy'. Every client has parts of their life they aren't happy with and that they want to understand better. I help you gain insight into and improve those areas.

EMDR

I use EMDR to help those with major traumatic events from their past as well as any client who wants to let go of a past resentment/hurt they just can't release. This is a truly amazing and gentle technique everyone can use

Motivational Interviewing

Are you 'sort of ready' to change some habit in your life...but are not sure? This is what we use to help you move to that action phase of change.

Strength-Based

I want you to always feel that the changes you make are from your inner abilities. I am not doing the work, but helping guide you to help yourself.
