I have 10 years of experience helping men and women in the prison system. I'm currently licensed in Wyoming, Washington state, and Michigan and am certified in accelerated resolution therapy (ART) and trained in EMDR. I am LGBTQI+ and kink friendly. I am a certified clinical trauma professional. I like working with clients who may be dealing with trauma, especially PTSD, regardless of the cause because A.R.T. is so powerful. A.R.T. is especially helpful for veterans and first responders.
Our first session is an opportunity for me to get to know you and you to know me. We discuss what brought you to session and what you want out of our time together. We may discuss immediate issues and may talk about whether ART is something you feel would be beneficial to you. During our first session, if ART is something you want to do, we will identify one or more scenes that you would like to reprocess to start healing the trauma within. Most clients start feeling relief from the first actual ART session.
I welcome the opportunity to help you heal from the past, regardless of how long ago that past happened, and help you bridge into the future. Relief is possible and your sessions are tailored to you and what you need and want. I offer compassion, don't judge, and listen with an open mind to what you have and need to say.
My ideal clients are those who are ready to work. Who want change and are willing to face the hard stuff that may come up as change is occurring. So much relief can be had through ART. Grow offers the opportunity for me to offer this virtually through their platform as I am able to share my screen so it isn't as important what you are connecting from. (Cell phones sometimes have issues) Whether its anxiety, depression or PTSD, as long as you are ready to change, change can occur. Lets talk and get the relief you deserve started.
EMDR
I use an eye movement therapy that is similar to EMDR called Accelerated Resolution Therapy. I use this to help you manage anxiety, depression, and post traumatic stress symptoms so you can be in control of your life.
