About me

I have spent my entire career in the helping field because I am deeply committed to helping people overcome challenges, build resilience, and improve their quality of life. Over the years I have seen how the right support can empower individuals and families to heal, grow, and reach their potential. This field has allowed me to use my skills in empathy, problem-solving, and collaboration to make a meaningful difference every day.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my focus is on getting to know you and your story. We'll spend time talking about what you would like to work on and I'll ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and challenges. Most clients find that it is life-changing to come face to face with what went into the making of who they are —your wiring, your patterns, your story. Once that clarity emerges, new pathways open. You begin to build healthier patterns, deepen your relationships, and extend grace to yourself. That’s not weakness—it’s wisdom. And it’s the beginning of a more compassionate, connected way of living. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and respected, and where we can begin building a plan that feels meaningful and doable for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my therapeutic approach is the balance between compassion and practicality. I believe in meeting people where they are, without losing sight of where they want to go. My approach is collaborative where we work together to uncover patterns, understand the "why" behind behaviors, and develop new ways of coping and growing. I integrate evidence based strategies with a deep respect for each person's unique story.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is you. Every human fits somewhere along the spectrum of "optimal" mental health to struggling—and everything in between. That position can shift depending on what life brings. Even when someone is doing “all the right things” like eating well and exercising, they may still need extra support. You don’t have to have a mental illness to seek tools that protect your peace, prioritize emotional wellness, or create a judgment-free space to process what you’re feeling. In fact, emotional health is often the most neglected. We rarely pause to check in with ourselves, and many people don't know why they are the way they are.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to support individuals in identifying and reframing negative thought patterns. I utilize psycho education to help challenge cognitive distortions and build coping skills. Sessions might include mindfulness, journaling, reframing, behavior activation, experimentation, and relapse prevention planning, etc. My approach is trauma informed, person centered, and culturally responsive.

Grief Therapy

I utilize Grief Therapy to create a safe compassionate space where individuals can process loss which can be complex and traumatic. My approach blends narrative work, CBT, and experiential modalities to help clients honor their grief, build resilience and connect meaning. My approach is trauma informed, person centered, and culturally responsive.

Play Therapy

I utilize play therapy to foster trust, support emotional regulation, and help children externalize their experiences. I utilize narrative play, symbolic story telling, art, props, therapeutic story books, games and activities.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I utlitize solution focused brief treatment to help clients identify strengths and get clear on goals so they can start to build actionable steps towards meaningful change. In sessions, I blend Adlerian approaches to guide clients to envision their future self and build on small, achievable shifts ensuring that their values, identity and healing process are respected.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I utilize ACT to help individuals build psychological flexibility by accepting difficult emotions, clarifying values, and committing to meaningful action. Through mindfulness, experiential exercises, and values based exploration, I support clients in navigating distress without avoidance to foster resilience.
