My treatment methods

Motivational Interviewing

It is a collaborative, goal-oriented, and client-centered approach that elicits and explores the person’s own arguments for change, otherwise known as Change Talk. MI is an evidence-based treatment that is practical, empathetic, and short-term. It supports the client’s autonomy and values to change.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT focuses on resolving current issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, anger, and relationship problems. CBT helps individuals replace maladaptive patterns of thinking, emotional responses, and behaviors with more desirable ones. By addressing underlying thought patterns, CBT aims to alleviate psychological distress and improve mental health.

Collaborative Management and Assessment of Suicidality (CAMS)

is an evidence-based suicide-specific clinical intervention that has been shown through extensive research to effectively assess, treat and manage suicidal patients in a wide range of clinical settings.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT focuses on helping people accept the reality of their lives and their behaviors, as well as helping them learn to change their lives, including their unhelpful behaviors.
