New to Grow
Have you been feeling anxious or depressed? Has it been difficult to overcome negative thoughts and feelings every day? Let’s slow down and give a moment to any part of you that shows up during our session, we can work towards solutions together but we will not get there without all strong beliefs or feelings getting to be seen and heard. Through this, we build a bond and work through negative beliefs about yourself, others and the world which are influencing your daily mood. The goal is to internalize adaptive perspectives through self-compassion using evidenced-based practices such as EMDR and Internal Family Systems theory.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
During our first session I will be assessing your experiences from conception to now and begin formulating a treatment plan to do the work of learning coping skills and reprocessing triggers quickly. Clients report improvement in symptoms after about 3-5 consecutive reprocessing sessions together.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I identify as a first generation, Mexican-American (able-bodied, cisgendered) woman :) all identities deserve to feel safe, honored, and embraced. I speak Spanish fluently.
