I am excited about the success my clients have accomplished. It is their discovery that is most interesting: for example, it is possible to change personality even though we have always been told it never happens! We approach this by exploring emotions that form the building blocks of personality. In this sort of work, I find that the most effective therapy happens when clients and I form a interpersonal therapeutic bond of trust. By the way, when I say that change is possible , I really believe it, and I am confident that if you are willing to work on what many would call impossible...building trust...you will leave our sessions feeling a sense of increased wholeness.

Hi, I'm Greg, Have you ever felt like the path your life has taken has not turned out the way you expected? Do you sometimes wonder why you don't feel the way you think you should, or worry that you may not be headed in the right direction? I’m a licensed psychotherapist working with adults who may appear high-functioning on the outside but feel anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally unsettled beneath the surface. Many of the individuals I work with are navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, self-doubt, or persistent patterns they can’t quite untangle on their own. My style is thoughtful, steady, and insight-oriented. I integrate practical tools for emotional regulation with deeper exploration of relational patterns and attachment dynamics. I believe therapy should feel both grounding and meaningful — a place where you can slow down, understand yourself more clearly, and begin shifting patterns that no longer serve you. Clients often describe me as calm, direct, and attuned. I aim to create a space that feels safe enough for honesty and structured enough for real change. My work focuses not only on reducing symptoms, but on building emotional clarity, stability, and more secure ways of relating — to others and to yourself. I started my clinical journey in family therapy, working with children and adolescents and their caregivers. Individual outpatient therapy, where the client has space to explore themselves with compassionate support, drew my interest and since 2017 I have focused on providing individual therapy to adults. The perspective of a social worker continues to inform my work as I consider at the bigger picture of society, community and family and how it affects individual mental health. This becomes especially important when factors like trauma, chronic illness, or financial stress impact wellbeing.

I create a space where you feel deeply heard and understood — but also gently challenged to grow. I work with individuals who are ready to move beyond surface-level conversations and truly understand what’s keeping them stuck. As a bilingual therapist (English/Spanish), I bring a culturally sensitive and deeply attuned perspective to our work together. I understand the complexity of navigating identity, relationships, and emotional patterns, especially within diverse cultural contexts. With over a decade of experience, I specialize in working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship patterns. If you’re looking for a therapist who will truly listen — and also guide you toward real, lasting change — we may be a strong fit. WHO I WORK BEST WITH I work best with individuals who: Are ready to take accountability for their growth Feel stuck in recurring patterns (relationships, emotions, decisions) Want deeper self-awareness — not just temporary relief Are open to being challenged in a supportive way Many of my clients come in feeling overwhelmed or stuck — and leave with clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of self. If you’re ready for that kind of work, I invite you to reach out. ATTENTION: If you do not show up for your intake session your case will be closed. There are 3 documents attached to your file that needs to be filled out before your first session. There is a cancelation fee policy if you do not contact and let me know 24 previous to your appointment. If your health insurance is Husky or Medicaid and you incur two no shows your case will be closed. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating family, relationship, and career stress, as well as burnout. My goal is to empower you to become the best version of yourself by creating a safe, collaborative space where you can heal, grow, and thrive. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs, including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Identifying and reshaping unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Helping you build psychological flexibility, clarify your values, and take meaningful action, even in the face of difficult emotions. Mindfulness-Based Therapy: Cultivating present-moment awareness and non-judgmental acceptance of thoughts and feelings. Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT): Focusing on your strengths and achievable goals. Person-Centered Therapy: Providing empathy, unconditional positive regard, and support for self-discovery. Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT): Deepening understanding of emotional responses, especially in relationships. Psychoeducation: Equipping you with knowledge and tools to better manage your mental health. These approaches allow me to address a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship challenges. Together, we’ll work toward building resilience, clarity, and a stronger sense of self.

As an existentially oriented psychotherapist with 25 years of experience treating a range of people in a variety of settings, I work most effectively with people who are open to mindfulness and other spiritual modalities. We will work together to create an alliance as we negotiate life's inevitable challenges by establishing empathy and understanding while maintaining a strategic and solution-focused stance. Most recently, I have been influenced by Internal Family Systems therapy and have found this as a useful adjunct to my practice. I draw on a significant number of resources in my work with my clients. This will include poetry, art, music, philosophy, spiritual teachings, and literature. An openness to art and other wisdom/learning traditions can assist patients with growth as well as the normalization of the human struggle.

Frequently asked questions

Why filter by Massachusetts rather than a city like Boston?

When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in Massachusetts. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across Massachusetts from Springfield to Cape Cod! If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near you in Massachusetts.

Will my therapist take insurance?

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

How does the Specialty Filter work? Can I find a therapist that focuses on Family Conflict?

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need. For example, your selected specialty, Family Conflict, is filtering therapists in Massachusetts that work with patients with similar concerns.

Why use Gender, Age, and Identities filters?

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

What happens during the first therapy session?

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
