I work with children, teens, and young adults who are navigating challenges like anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and relationship difficulties. Hi! I'm Nadia Jomaa and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's degree in Social Work from Florida State University. As a first-generation Arab-American growing up in Florida, I have struggled with the intersectionality of my identity and finding community. My goal is to empower my clients to embrace their various cultural backgrounds, gender identity, and sexual orientation to be their genuine selves and make space for themselves in their lives. Together we can achieve these and other goals through learning some helpful skills, but also by remaining open, curious and compassionate with ourselves.
I am a LMHC in Florida, graduate from Seton Hall University in New Jersey where I obtained both my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Master of Education in Counseling Psychology. I have worked in the field of Mental Health and Human Services for over twenty years. During this time, I've had the opportunity to interact with individuals in various places along life's journey. I have had the privilege of working with culturally, economically and ethically diverse individuals. As a practical, interactive, solution focused counselor, my approach is to provide support, with insight and feedback to assist you with your current concerns, while also addressing persistent issues in the past. My overall desire is to provide you with an emotional and physical space where you will feel seen and heard. Therapy can be emotionally demanding but can also be life transforming. I welcome being a part of your healing process!
Welcome!
I’m a licensed psychotherapist specializing in trauma and PTSD, as well as mood and anxiety-related concerns. I have experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings with individuals experiencing a range of mental health concerns. My approach to therapy is down-to-earth, interactive and collaborative. I draw from different therapeutic frameworks and tailor my approach to each client based on their developmental stage, individual needs, preferences and goals. Outside of private practice, I partner with several community-based nonprofit agencies serving children, adolescents and families involved in the foster care system, as well as survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Southern California with a clinical focus in adult mental health. I am also a doctoral candidate at the University of Pennsylvania, where I am currently completing my dissertation. I am passionate about this field because it allows me to work across both micro and macro levels at the intersection of behavioral and community healthcare, advocacy, and justice. I value the ability to engage in this work through psychotherapy and direct practice, while also understanding and addressing the broader systems, policies, and communities that shape lives. I approach this field through both a values-driven and change-oriented lens, and my own lived experience plays a significant role in how I understand and approach this work.
Hello potential client! You are hurting in some way if you are here reading this. Maybe you feel like you are getting more and more stressed out and just one more stressor would be too much for you to handle. Maybe you worry all the time about everything and can't stop. Maybe you are sad all the time and don't enjoy doing things that used to be fun. Maybe you are feeling helpless or hopeless about what to do. Maybe you have been through a traumatic experience or are grieving. Maybe you are thinking the way you have been using substances is causing you problems. You have tried your best to help yourself but nothing has worked the way you hoped it would. You don't know what to do but you do know you can't keep going the way you have been.
This is where I come in! I help people who are ready to change for the better! My heart is for helping hurting people and I strive to treat all of my clients with the compassion and respect I believe they deserve. The most important part of positive change in a therapeutic relationship depends on just that - the relationship between the therapist and the client. I also use a variety of resources to help my clients. These include evidence-based types of therapy, worksheets and measurements. I also offer Christian counseling to those who are interested and am also happy to work with people of other spiritual beliefs.
I offer free consultation calls so we can both decide if working together would be a good fit for both of us. I look forward to hearing from you if I sound like I would be your kind of therapist!
Nicole has made it a goal in her therapeutic mission to de-stigmatize and bring awareness of mental health to diverse populations. She believes that therapy is a place where one can process their thoughts and identify how one’s feelings play a role in their daily decision making. As a therapist, Nicole aims to provide a compassionate, empathetic and safe space for individuals to gain insight and awareness in themselves.
My name is Benjamin Miller and I have been in the field of counseling for almost 10 years. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who specialize in working with adults/late teens who struggle with Drug and Alcohol addiction, Grief and Loss, Relationship Issues, Self Esteem and Identity Issues, Career Issues, Personal Growth, Depression, or your common day to day stressors. I use an eclectic approach to therapy with my focus methods being Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Grief Therapy, Couples Counseling, Career Counseling, Substance Use and Addiction Therapy and Talk Therapy for your everyday stressors. I provide individual therapy, couples therapy, and group therapy. I am very passionate about empowering individuals to design their lives and remain discipline through adversity.
What typically surprises people is that I am the 11th of 13 children - all from the same parents. Growing up with so many siblings has given me a great opportunity to learn about family dynamics and effective discipline. My parents did a great job of maintaining a safe and well-behaved home, and I use their example as a template while also incorporating my own experience as a parent for working with families today.
As for my approach to therapy, I use several different theories depending on the need of the client; however, my primary mode is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). It just fits my personality. If you are looking for a therapist who focuses solely on your emotions and how you're feeling on any given day, then I will not be a good fit for you. On the other hand, if you're looking for a therapist who not only does all that but who will also listen to everything you say (as well as the meaning behind what you say) and then challenge your thinking habits to help you find more effective and productive thinking patterns, then I'm on board for that. I learned a long time ago that many clients do not want things "Sugar Coated", but rather prefer their therapist to be respectfully bold and blunt. If this is who you are looking for in a therapist, then let's get to work.

Painful experiences often lead people to develop protective strategies to manage overwhelming emotions. These strategies may appear as perfectionism, emotional avoidance, anger toward loved ones, or repeated involvement in unhealthy relationships. While they can offer temporary relief, they often create disconnection from oneself and others, contributing to feelings of loneliness, shame, anxiety, and depression.
I am dedicated to helping individuals strengthen their sense of self worth and process traumatic experiences that contribute to insecure attachment and unhelpful patterns. I believe that although emotional wounds often occur within relationships, healing also takes place through safe and supportive connection. With compassion, courage, and a willingness to explore difficult experiences, meaningful and lasting change is possible. Healing can happen, and there is always hope.

I am a licensed therapist who is passionate about helping clients navigate burnout. I am passionate because I have been there and was tired of getting unhelpful answers from people who meant well but did not seem to understand. Advice like ‘sleep it off’ and ‘take a deep breath’ we're common and it felt like I was putting a bandaid on a gaping wound. I promise, life does not need to be a constant cycle of burning out and starting again. Through our work together we will explore ways to ‘stitch’ the gaping wound so you are actually able to heal and move towards a more balanced life.
Through our work together I will use imagery and analogies to help you better understand how and why your body and mind is reacting the way it is. Like a birds eye view, I am able to see some of the signs that are right in front of you but are too zoomed in to see clearly. In a non-judgmental space I use education and a bit of humor to help you see the full picture and move towards a healthier balance.
I’m a bilingual licensed psychologist specializing in trauma, helping individuals overcome past and current adversity and build resilience. My training includes a PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Georgia and advanced postdoctoral fellowship training through Harvard Medical School. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed from carrying so much on their own and unsure how to move forward, but ready for meaningful change. Some are navigating complex trauma, anxiety, depression, infertility, painful life transitions, or relationship challenges while balancing the demands of everyday life. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based therapies that support insight and lasting progress. I believe therapy should be both deeply human and thoughtfully tailored to each person’s story, strengths, and goals.

I am not a child therapist, but I do work with teenagers. I have been in private practice for the past five years, seeing multiple types of clients, with various challenges, through telehealth.
Do you ever feel misunderstood, no one ever listens or cares about your life? Do you sometimes feel that you are trapped in a room without an exit? I will never exactly understand what it is like to be you, however I believe that significant progress can be made in even the toughest of life situations. Having someone that will listen and cares about your circumstances and strives to find a solution is imperative. I love to collaborate with my clients and develop a blueprint which can help them achieve their goals. Whatever your struggles, there's always a way out.

I have been in the mental health field since 2007. I was informed when I first started in this field that the average time for people to stay in the field is two years. I am still in the field because helping others is more than a career choice for me, it is my passion in life. Helping others is a personal goal of mine. I look forward to the opportunity. I enjoy seeing people make positive changes in their lives. I have worked with families, couples, children, adolescents and teens, from various cultures and backgrounds. Each case and each client is unique in their way and each client is important.
My particular areas of expertise are depression, anxiety, substance abuse, marriage counseling and family counseling. I refer to myself as a "simple-minded therapist" which means we will explore simple ways to address the presenting concerns because many times the solutions are so simple they can be easily overlooked. I am a firm believer that holding a conversation is more productive than expounding on theoretical approaches.
I’m Rashawnda James, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 12 years of experience supporting adults through life transitions, anxiety, and depression. I strive to create a warm and compassionate space where you can feel truly heard and understood. Together, we’ll explore your thoughts and feelings, build self-awareness, and develop practical tools that help you feel more grounded, confident, and empowered in your life. My goal is to support you in creating meaningful change and living a life aligned with your values.
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, watching anime, and traveling whenever I can—it helps me stay balanced and inspired, and I love bringing that energy into my work with clients.
Overwhelmed? Trouble saying "no" to people? Do you sometimes feel like you're making decisions based on other people's opinions/wants/needs/expectations over your own? Are your feelings and needs getting neglected? Or maybe talking about feelings is just really difficult for you, as it is for most people. It's common to avoid communication all together because it just feels like conflict.
I am an openly a queer person, running a private practice since 2021, but practicing therapy full-time since 2018. I focus on trauma work, anxiety, shame, identity exploration, and boundaries/setting limits!
When I say trauma work, sometimes people always assume the most extreme - but with all clients I find it beneficial to reflect on impactful or very painful past experiences and how it shapes our relationships and present-day life. I can offer you a better understanding and education of your body's nervous system, because the mind and body are connected, and trauma is held within our bodies. My goal is to work with you on improving self-awareness, understanding your automatic reactions, and having direct coping tools based on your specific experiences and mental health symptoms, so you can enjoy the present and feel more free and in control. I’ll help you identify your unmet needs and your emotions, and practice better communication and conflict-resolution often, too.
However as educational, direct, and action-oriented I try to be, I also work from a place of compassion. Therapy is very vulnerable! I am ultimately giving you the space and time to get any current worries off your mind, and I try to always work from a place of patience, empathy, and flexibility, too. I've been in the client's chair many times, and I know exactly how important it is to feel free to talk without being judged.
Choosing a therapist is a deeply personal decision, and I honor the courage it takes to begin this process. If we work together, you can expect a therapeutic relationship built on trust, collaboration, and respect. I create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can show up as you are—no masks, no pressure—and begin to explore what healing and growth look like for you.
My approach is thoughtful and tailored. I draw from evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy, adapting each session to meet your needs and goals. Whether you are navigating anxiety, self-doubt, relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck, I help you make sense of your experiences, strengthen emotional awareness, and find new ways to move forward.
I believe therapy should not just be about coping—it should be about transformation. That might mean learning how to quiet an inner critic, setting healthier boundaries, deepening relationships, or reconnecting with your sense of purpose. We will work at a pace that feels right for you, and I will walk beside you each step of the way with compassion, curiosity, and care.
If you are looking for a therapist who listens deeply, challenges gently, and is committed to helping you build a more grounded and empowered version of your life, I would be honored to work with you.
