Hi, I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the State of Florida. I have been practicing in the field for over 14 years. I have worked with a variety of populations from children to adults. I bring positive and supportive energy to the counseling environment. I enjoy guiding clients to being their optimal self. From the beginning of our session we will work to explore goals that are aligned with your optimal self. I will guided you to understanding how to change thinking errors and negative thought distortions. I specialize in working with a variety of mental health diagnosis inclusive of Anxiety, Mood Disorders, Depression, ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, etc. Making the step to come to therapy is commendable and highlights a persons will to improve. I am here to help you be your best you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will start with brief introductions, then dive into specific challenges you're facing. Then we will create a plan to work on throughout therapy. I provided you with a warm and safe environment while using a client centered approach, meeting you where you. There is no rush to build your masterpiece.

Having worked in Mental Health for the last 14 years I have developed active listening and positive coping skills to help clients navigate through their current issues. I am very open-minded, approachable, and easy to talk to.

I love working with individuals who may be at a road block exploring how they are and what they want. My clients are eager to improve their current state, but would like more tools to achieve goals. Client's can be in transition in many different areas in life not limited to family dynamics, relationships, career, exploration of old patterns and .new patterns. If you are looking to grow and increase your self awareness, I am the therapist for you. If you have experienced therapy in the past or not, I am here to bring new insights and skill.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to guide you (client) to exploring how feelings, thoughts, and behaviors impact experiences. Client will explore Core Beliefs, Dysfunctional Assumptions and Automatic Negative Thoughts and develop skills to challenge themselves and reframe thinking.

Supportive

I provided a person centered approach that is support to my client engaging in treatment while helping them gain self regulation, reinforcing their positives and improving confidence in decision making

Motivational Interviewing

clients will gain skills to identify where they currently are and what changes that would like to make. This will create internal motivation to change undesired behaviors

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Client will gain skills to be present in the here and now becoming more self aware and reduce automatic responses.
