(she/her)
Hello, and welcome. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida with over 14 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults on their mental health journeys. My approach is warm, empowering, and grounded in the belief that each person has the capacity to grow, heal, and thrive. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your challenges, clarify your goals, and move toward becoming your optimal self. Together, we’ll work to uncover and shift unhelpful thought patterns, build emotional resilience, and develop practical strategies for change. I specialize in treating a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, and oppositional defiant behaviors. Taking the first step toward therapy is a powerful act of self-awareness and courage. I’m here to walk with you—supporting, guiding, and celebrating your progress every step of the way.
In your first session, we’ll start by getting to know each other and creating a comfortable, safe space for you to share what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask about your background, current challenges, and what you hope to achieve through counseling. Together, we’ll explore your goals and begin to identify areas to focus on that align with your values and vision for yourself. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions about the therapy process and for us to discuss how we can work best together. My goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and understood from the very beginning, setting a foundation for meaningful growth and change.
What sets my therapeutic approach apart is my combination of warmth, practical guidance, and evidence-based methods tailored to each individual’s unique needs. I focus on creating a collaborative, non-judgmental space where clients feel empowered to explore their challenges and discover their strengths. I blend cognitive-behavioral techniques with mindfulness and supportive counseling to help clients not only understand their thoughts and emotions but also develop concrete tools for lasting change. This integrative approach encourages self-awareness, resilience, and goal-driven progress. Clients often share that they appreciate my ability to balance empathy with structure—feeling both supported and motivated to take meaningful steps forward. My goal is to help you move beyond simply coping toward thriving in your daily life.
I’m best positioned to support individuals who are ready to grow and unsure if they are ready to grow, explore, and take meaningful steps toward a healthier, more balanced life. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, mood changes, or difficulties with focus and behavior—whether in school, work, or relationships. I work well with children, teens, and adults who are open to learning more about themselves and are seeking practical tools to manage emotions, improve relationships, and build confidence. Whether you're navigating a life transition, setting boundaries, working through past experiences, or simply trying to feel more in control, I’m here to help you gain clarity and move forward with intention. My approach is especially effective for those who value encouragement, structure, and honest, supportive guidance in reaching their personal goals.
