“I would describe my style as open-minded and empowering—partnering with clients to cultivate awareness, navigate challenges with intention, and foster emotional balance.” Healing starts with awareness. As a therapist with Mindfulness Growth Therapy, I guide clients in becoming more present, grounded, and in control of their emotional experiences. If you’re struggling with anxiety, low mood, or feeling disconnected, we’ll work together to gently explore what’s beneath the surface while building skills that support balance, clarity, and self-compassion. I work with adults who feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in survival mode, or worn down from carrying too much for too long. Many of my clients are high-functioning professionals or caregivers who struggle with anxiety, stress, trauma, or feeling disconnected from themselves. My approach is warm, collaborative, and empowering. I use trauma-informed CBT and mindfulness-based strategies to help clients feel more grounded, regulate emotions, and build healthier coping skills—without judgment or pressure. Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to have it all together. We move at your pace and focus on practical tools you can actually use in daily life.
In our initial visits, we identify the main issues, provide education, and discuss treatment goals. Using a compassionate, collaborative approach grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact—and how small shifts can lead to meaningful change. We'll explore patterns that keep you stuck and build practical tools for coping, connection, and clarity.
I combine trauma-informed care with practical coping tools to help clients feel grounded and empowered—not overwhelmed. I work especially well with high-functioning adults who feel anxious, burned out, or emotionally stuck, and I prioritize emotional safety, pacing, and real-life application of skills.
**Ideal Clients** Ideal clients are individuals who are ready to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. They are open to using mindfulness-based strategies to create meaningful change in their lives. These individuals are interested in understanding their mental health and are willing to engage in self-reflection and personal growth. They are eager to learn practical tools for navigating emotions, managing life transitions, practicing self-care, and reducing stress.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In the initial sessions of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I assist clients in understanding how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact, which can help with addressing ongoing emotional stressors. By exploring and understanding your core beliefs, you can improve your self-awareness and better understand your internal motivations.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I use mindfulness and acceptance practices to help individuals manage unwanted thoughts and feelings, promote self-acceptance, and encourage changes that align with their values.
Psychodynamic
Psychodynamic therapy is used to explore an individual’s past, including childhood experiences and relationships. This approach aims to uncover unconscious motivations and unresolved conflicts that may impact mental health. The goal is to help clients understand how their history influences their present behavior and to enhance their self-awareness.
Trauma-Focused CBT
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), a structured method designed to help you process and heal from trauma. I will guide you at a comfortable pace as we develop coping skills, explore the impact of trauma on your thoughts and emotions, and work to reduce distress.
