Are you struggling with challenges that affect your emotional health and wellbeing? Do past experiences feel like they're limiting your potential? Are you looking for a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings? I'm a licensed psychotherapist who believes the therapeutic relationship is the most powerful catalyst for change. My goal is to partner with you toward your desired goals in a supportive, collaborative environment — working together to foster positive change and build strategies for self-empowerment. I'm trained in EMDR therapy, based on the idea that our brains have a natural system for processing experiences so we can retain what serves our growth. When disturbing experiences overwhelm that system — or we lack the context to make sense of what happened — the effects can linger. EMDR uses bilateral (left-right) stimulation to activate the brain's natural processing system, helping you work through difficult experiences and release what no longer serves you. I believe our past shapes our present and future, in both adaptive and maladaptive ways. I'd be honored to help you on your journey toward inner peace, self-love, and fulfillment.
What to Expect in Your First Session Your first session is really about getting to know each other. There's no pressure to have everything figured out or to know exactly where to start — we'll figure that out together. Most importantly, this first session is a chance to see if we're a good fit. Therapy works best when you feel safe and understood, so it's completely normal to take a session or two to see how it feels. There's no obligation to continue if it doesn't feel right — and I'll never take that personally. Come as you are. You don't need to prepare anything or have the "right" words — just show up, and we'll take it from there.
What sets my practice apart is the belief that how we work together matters just as much as what we work on. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all method, I build our relationship first — because real change happens when you feel truly seen and safe enough to be honest. In short, my approach isn't about fixing you — it's about partnering with you, understanding the roots of what you're experiencing, and helping you move toward lasting, meaningful change.

She is very nice but it was hard to get beyond surface level which I don't generally have that issue. I don't feel like we focused on the right areas.

Had an amazing first sessions with Trisha Walsh! Even though she’s not used to doing couples counseling, she just went with it and was better than we could have ever imagined! Very thoughtful and open to our problems with no judgment or lack of understanding. 10/10 would recommend!
