New to Grow
I became a therapist after doing my own healing work and learning how powerful it can be to rebuild from the inside out. I understand what it’s like to feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from your sense of self. I also believe deeply that change is possible with the right support. My approach is grounded in trauma-informed care, compassion, and collaboration. I offer a calm, steady space where you can explore your story, settle your nervous system, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that need care and understanding. Together, we’ll work toward relief, clarity, and a renewed sense of hope.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
During our first few sessions, we’ll take time to get to know each other and build a foundation of trust. You’re always in control of what you choose to share, and we will only explore experiences at a pace that feels safe for you. My role is to provide a grounded, supportive environment where you can speak openly and stay connected to your boundaries. As we talk, we’ll begin making gentle connections between your past and present to help you understand what you’re feeling and why. We’ll move together at a pace that supports your comfort and sense of safety.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I bring a warm, steady presence and a deep commitment to helping clients feel heard and understood. I use compassionate listening, gentle reframing, and mindfulness-based strategies to help you build emotional awareness and resilience. I tailor our work to your needs and stay mindful of creating a space where you can show up fully without judgment. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, supported, and equipped to move through life’s challenges.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I’m a good fit for individuals who feel overwhelmed or unsure where to begin with their healing. Many people come to me navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, or a loss of connection to themselves. You don’t have to have everything figured out to start—just a willingness to show up for yourself. In our work, we’ll slow things down, clarify what matters most, and rebuild from a place of safety and self-compassion. Therapy is not about blame; it’s about understanding your story and finding new ways to cope and grow. If you’re ready to prioritize yourself and move toward meaningful change, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors and replace them with healthier, more adaptive strategies. By exploring the connections between thoughts, emotions, and actions, we work collaboratively to reduce anxiety, manage depression, and cope with life’s challenges. My approach is trauma-informed, practical, and client-centered, focusing on small, intentional steps that promote insight, emotional regulation, and meaningful change.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients clarify their values, accept difficult emotions, and take committed action toward a meaningful life. ACT supports clients in noticing unhelpful thoughts without judgment, reducing avoidance, and building psychological flexibility. Together, we focus on living intentionally and creating a life aligned with what matters most to you.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Through Internal Family Systems (IFS), I help clients explore the different “parts” of themselves—the voices, feelings, or beliefs that influence behavior. By understanding and unblending from these parts, clients can develop self-compassion, resolve inner conflicts, and strengthen their sense of wholeness. IFS provides a gentle, trauma-informed way to access insight, healing, and personal growth.
