(he/him)
Hi, I’m Andrés and if you’re reading this, you might be the one everyone counts on, the one who gets it done, but lately... it’s been feeling like too much. Maybe sleep is broken, work feels relentless, or you snap at people you love and don’t know why. I work with high-achieving, deeply committed people who are tired of carrying the weight alone. Therapy with me is real, practical, and focused we get to the root of things so you can finally exhale, feel lighter, and show up how you want to at work, at home, and for yourself.
You don’t need to prep or have the perfect words, just bring yourself. Our first session runs about 90 minutes and is a chance for us to slow down and take a full look at what’s been going on. We’ll complete a comprehensive assessment that helps me understand your story not just the symptoms, but the stressors, patterns, and strengths that have shaped where you are today. I’ll guide us through the process so it doesn’t feel overwhelming, and there’s always space for whatever feels most pressing. Most people leave that first session feeling more understood, more grounded, and more hopeful about the path forward.
Clients often tell me I “get it” fast. I’m not here to nod along or drag things out. I offer a clear, grounded space where you can be real, unpack what’s not working, and start building tools that actually help. I blend evidence-based approaches with practical, down-to-earth strategies that meet you where you are, whether it’s navigating trauma, relationship stress, or just feeling emotionally maxed out. My style is warm, honest, and focused I won’t just listen; I’ll help you move forward.
I’m best positioned to support people who are constantly “on” , high performers in demanding careers like the military, healthcare, or first response who look strong on the outside but feel worn thin inside. Many of my clients come to me juggling success and stress, silently battling anxiety, relationship strain, burnout, or trauma that hasn’t been fully addressed. They’re not new to self-reflection, they’ve read the books, tried to push through, but now they’re ready for real change. Whether you’re navigating a major life shift, trying to save your relationship, or just want to stop feeling so emotionally exhausted, I’m here to help you move forward with clarity and purpose.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) is the frontline treatment for folks dealing with trauma. Specifically, those dealing with symptoms of PTSD. I have used this framework since I started working with the military population (2 years) and it has proven to be extraordinarily effective. Many of my clients will start with PCL-5 scores in the 60s and end treatment in the single digits or teens. That means that their symptoms have gone down so much that they no longer qualify for a diagnosis of PTSD. Of course, that is not always the case, but for the vast majority, it has been in my experience.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is the frontline treatment method for many mental health issues including Anxiety, Depression, and even chronic pain! I have used CBT in my practice from the start! This is the method I was first trained in and since then have gone on to use it in treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, chronic pain and psychosis.

Andres has helped me understand my behaviors and patterns and gives me actionable steps that we work through together in order to reframe my thoughts. He listens and can pinpoint exactly where a turning point was for me in conversation, with enough practice I will recognize it myself. It feels easy to talk with him.

I have tried therapy with other therapists before, but none have been as effective as Andres. I genuinely look forward to our sessions! I have become physically and mentally aware of my hardships, and am able to reflect on the progress that I have made in my sessions with him. He is very solution oriented and doesn't just sit and listen, but engages with me and provides valuable input - all while not making a decision on my behalf, but empowering me to make one.
