You are not alone and here is a safe space! Greetings, I am Roosevelt Badger, LCSW. I am committed to helping enhance the lives of individuals, families, and couples with assisting in helping maintain recovery through the use of person-centered approaches and evidence-based interventions. I started accepting telehealth clients during Covid-19 in response to the significant increase of children and adults reporting symptoms of depression and anxiety.

I have adopted innovative strategies, and I continue to implement the latest approaches and techniques to provide effective treatment that is unique to the client. I am passionate about helping! I help clients with ADD/ADHD, OCD, stress, anger. anxiety, pain, trauma, boundary issues, LGBTQIA+ related issues, emotion regulation, behavioral issues, aging, and grief/ loss recognize and overcome challenges and succeed. I help victims and survivors of abuse and neglect find their voice. I help clients reach their potential at work, home, and in social relationships.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I have over 2 years of experience utilizing ACT to assist clients in focusing on the present moment and accepting thoughts and feelings without judgment. I aim to help you move forward through difficult emotions so you can put your energy into healing instead of dwelling on the negative.

Strength-Based

I have over 3 years of experience in utilizing Strength-based Therapy to help clients identify/process their strengths, increase hopefulness of using their own strengths, and promote stronger relationships.

Trauma Informed Care

I have over 3 years of experience utilizing Trauma Informed Care to assist children and adults in learning about the effects of trauma, how to tell their truth, relaxation techniques, copings strategies, and enhance their mental health/ overall well-being.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have over 4 years of experience utilizing CBT to help clients understand and manage challenges that affect their thinking, feelings, and behaviors.

Compassion Focused

I have over 5 years of experience utilizing this treatment method. I am very passionate about the services I provide and the people I serve.
