Greetings! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my Masters from California State University Dominguez Hills. I believe in one being and operating in their authentic self as well as meeting an individual where they are at emotionally, spiritually and or running on empty. I assist adults struggling with anxiety, depression and life transitions become their authentic self.
Struggling to overcome what life throws at you? I believe everyone deserves a safe and non-judgmental space that can help them move beyond the difficulties that anxiety, depression, or heaviness of past traumas can bring. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who understands that therapy is a holistic approach that takes the whole individual and their environment into consideration. I know firsthand how exhausting it can be when anxiety, depression, or PTSD weigh down your daily life. My focus is on helping teens and adults not just cope, but truly heal. To do this, my approach is heavily grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and existential approaches. Throughout our sessions, we will build the practical everyday skills you need to reclaim your energy and create a life to be truly excited about.
I am passionate about the impact of spirituality in mental health therapy. As an attachment informed humanist LPCC, I consider the bio-psycho-social-spiritual/existential condition of the folks with whom I work. Healing is a matter of integrating the disparate and fragmented parts of life. Empathy, acceptance, positive regard, and genuineness are crucial elements for effective therapy and these are the characteristics I seek to cultivate in my practice. As far as a specific toolkit, CBT and Motivational Interviewing are the primary evidence based methodologies I employ to be with people in their self-paced, goal oriented healing efforts. Those who want to examine the angst, anxiety, disquiet, and friction in their lives will find a fellow traveler in me.
My therapy approach is always non judgmental, attuned, and integrates active listening as well as unconditional positive regard. In addition, my multicultural personal and professional backgrounds allow me to work with a variety of cultures. Also, I try my best to meet the client where they are and learn where it is they want to be/go in life. This allows me to assist them in accomplishing the aforementioned in compassionate, authentic, and realistic ways.
My goal in my counseling is to help my clients live deeply fulfilling lives. I help clients increase their psychological flexibility through various tools and approaches including evidence-based Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to change their thought patterns. I use experiential approaches including Hypnotherapy to work with subconscious minds and remove blocks that are deep in their psyche. I also provide mindfulness training, which is one of the key techniques for the clients to be more present and accepting in their lives, rather than react reflexively.
Each individual's struggles are complex and tied to many factors including their social environment, their physical health, the phases of their lives, skills they already possess, etc. In other words, change can happen in a variety of ways and that's what counseling can help with, pointing out the direction and even the next steps that can help the client to get to their goals and intentions.
I work with clients experiencing sleep disorders, chronic pain, anxiety, mood issues, ADHD, career counseling, and those who simply need a tune-up.
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I use a person centered approach tailored to the individual to help individuals find peace within themselves and joy in their emotions. I have a background working with people experiencing psychosis, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and personality disorders. I believe that there is no such thing as “normal” as we all have our own path to walk. I am passionate about about helping others meet the highest version of themselves and grow into that version. I believe that a person is a whole creature - mind, body, and spirit, and all of that must be nurtured.
I take a strength based approach to therapy, focusing on the strengths, values, and resilience you already have rather than only on problems. Together, we build on what is working to help you navigate challenges, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change. This approach supports growth that feels both practical and personally aligned with who you are and your goals.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with clinical and social services experience - along with years of experience and knowledge of spiritual care (MDiv) - I enjoy partnering in the whole-person healing process. Understanding the person in their environment as well as being enlightened to a their intrinsic qualities, informs the therapeutic process and facilitates an effective healing journey .
Have you ever felt like you were busy doing all the things you thought would bring you a happy life, yet felt alone and disconnected from yourself and others?
These feelings are often when people turn to alcohol, drugs, food, shopping or relationships to try to create those feelings of happiness, contentment and joy. It can work for a short time however the key to moving forward is to understand the reasons we seek out these distractions.
When we strengthen the relationship with ourselves, the outer world becomes much more balanced and fulfilling. Through slowing down and reconnecting with our mind, body and spirit we can feel more confident to face life events with a more stable and hopeful core sense of self.
I specialize in treating relationship issues, addiction/substance abuse, depression, anxiety, job related issues, couples treatment and divorce recovery

Hi it's nice to meet you, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my Masters from Fuller Theological Seminary and have been practicing for over 8 years. I help adults struggling with trauma, anxiety and life stressors to regain their sense of agency, make sense of the past, and make progress towards their goals for the future.
Welcome to my profile! My name is Roser and I work as a Psychotherapist. I received my master's degree in Counseling Psychology (Somatics) from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, and I have been practicing for 17 years as a Marriage and Family Therapist. Previously, I also completed another master's degree in Clinical Psychology that I studied in Spain. I am also a bicultural and bilingual Spanish speaking therapist, and I love to help individuals who are struggling with different life's stressors to help them to become a better version of themselves. Developing my career, I have used my skills and competencies in various settings including mental health clinics, schools, hospitals and residential treatment settings. I mostly have worked with children, families (including couples) and adults struggling with mood, anxiety, personality and psychotic disorders. From time to time, we all can feel out of balance with much uncertainty, while dealing with life's transitions, unexpected disappointments, and carrying personal traumas that caused a real impact on how we feel and experience the world. In this case, it can be very difficult to navigate life’s challenges on our own. Together, we can figure out a better way forward. "Growth occurs when individuals confront problems, struggle to master them and through that struggle develop new aspects of their skills capacities and views about life." ~ Carl Rogers, Humanistic Psychologist.
Welcome — I’m so glad you’re here!
My name is Ester Raha, and I’m a licensed therapist with 12 years of experience in the mental health field, including the past 7 years as a practicing therapist. My journey in this profession has been shaped by both my personal experiences as a female veteran and mother, a trauma survivor, and my passion for supporting others through life’s challenges.
I am passionate about providing IFS and EMDR therapies to queer and trans people. Serving my community as a queer therapist is one of my main life purposes. I do this work because I am committed to liberation for all people. I believe that none of us are free until ALL of us are free, and I bring a queer and intersectional lens to my work. As survivor of religious trauma and Intimate Partner Violence, I specialize in helping clients find and trust their own intuition. Sometimes my clients love to use tarot or astrology as a framework to discuss their development; I welcome alternative spiritual practices!
Hello, my name is Leslie and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California. I have my Bachelor's in Psychology from UCR and Master's in Social Work from CSUSB. I have experience working with individuals through all spans of life from childhood to end of life. I currently work with individual adults who are navigating depression, postpartum experiences, life transitions, work-related stress, and questions around spiritual well-being. I understand that even the most capable people can feel overwhelmed, disconencted, or unsure of their next steps in life- and reaching out for support is a meaningful first step toward change.
hello there :) My name is Rachel, a therapist based in California. My work with clients is sensitive, collaborative, warm, and non-judgmental. It's us against the problem- you bring the expertise of your life and I bring the expertise of training and professional experience. My role in this process is to listen, understand, support, and meet you where you are. Through this I aim to create a safe and trusting environment where you can begin to reveal and heal your true self.
I am an Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and existential issues. I also work with creative individuals who often feel "stuck." IFS can be particularly helpful for those struggling with complex trauma because it helps clients understand and heal their inner parts that may be stuck in protective or extreme roles. For creative individuals, IFS can help them identify and manage inner parts that may be critical or perfectionistic, thereby fostering a more fulfilling creative process.
As a Doctor of Social Work and a dual-certified clinician in both DBT (Linehan Board) and CBT (Beck Institute), I am dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s most complex emotional and spiritual challenges. My practice is built on the belief that meaningful change happens when we combine clinical excellence with a clear, values-driven vision for the future.
I specialize in supporting parents of children and adolescents who struggle with Emotional Dysregulation and problematic behaviors. I understand the exhaustion and isolation that can come with high-conflict household dynamics. To address this, I developed Family Systems Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (FS-DBT)—a model specifically designed to treat the family as a connected ecosystem, fostering collective growth rather than just individual symptom management.
Beyond family dynamics, I provide a safe, structured space for those experiencing faith crises or existential transitions. Whether you are deconstructing long-held beliefs or grappling with a loss of meaning, I help you navigate these "dark nights of the soul" by integrating clinical tools with a deep respect for your personal journey. My goal is to help you rebuild a life that feels authentic and anchored in your core truth.
Whether I am working with a couple seeking to repair their bond or a parent striving to de-escalate crisis behaviors, my approach is rooted in "beginning with the end in mind." We will collaborate on a comprehensive, practical plan designed to point you and your family toward your specific goals. I offer specialized individual psychotherapy and real-time phone coaching to ensure skills are applied in the moments they matter most. I am deeply passionate about this work, and I would love the opportunity to support your journey.
My background includes training in somatic therapy, spiritual emergence, buddhist psychology, expressive arts, sandtray, rosen method bodywork, aikido, person centered and transpersonal therapy and diverse trainings in psychological methods for personal growth and healing. My approach is holistic and includes exploring mind, body and spirit connections. I have worked as a school counselor, a military family life consultant, in clinics and in private practice. Currently I work with individuals in private practice.

Is this the first time you thinking about having therapy? Let's talk about what therapy is and is not. Tell me your expectations. Therapy is in part, talking about how you are feeling whether you have depression, anxiety, or feel overwhelmed by your work, family or relationships or by all three . But that is just the beginning. My name is Judith Copeland, I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I want to help you achieve the positive changes would you like to see in your life.
Do you feel you cannot cope, have no self-esteem or don’t even know what will make you happy? Together we will uncover your strengths and you will learn the skills you need to better manage your emotions. I use several treatment methods including, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, Integrative Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to tailor your care to your specific needs.
We will explore what is holding you back from achieving your goals and help you heal from past traumas. You will learn how your negative beliefs influence your mood and get in the way of your happiness. Often, we forget that everything is connected. Mind, Body, and Spirit. We need to take care of ourselves physically, psychologically, and spiritually. We often don’t really understand how deeply connected they are to our well-being. I will help you learn that self-care is just as important and or even more important as everything else you do.
We have within ourselves the ability to create the life we want and become the person we want to be. I would like to support you on this journey and look forward to meeting you.

Hello and Buen Día to you all! It would be my pleasure & privilege to work with you. I am a Forensic & Family Psychologist. I have worked for the last 18 years with the Spanish speaking population in Oakland’s Fruitvale District supporting healing around trauma and a variety of issues from prevention to severe and chronic suffering. Being a family and forensic psychologist means that I work with families involved in the court system: divorce, child custody/arrangements, child abuse, removal and reunification and or juvenile detention. I enjoy working with families, children, couples, and adolescents. I believe our innate strengths. I believe our internal strengths can be shaped, molded and encouraged in such ways that lead naturally to a desire and pursuit for wellness & healing.
I am a 74-year old cisgender white woman who grew up in the midwest. I've entered the field of marriage and family therapy after many other careers. I was drawn to this work through my own personal work with therapists I loved and admired. For me, the process is the very "meat" of life. Seeking to release old stuck patterns, seeking to understand, seeking to become all that we can be! We are born to be connected to others, yet we are taught in many cultures to be fierce individuals. We are born into a gender with expectations for what that means from ourselves and others--and our physical gender may not even match our inner experience! It's no wonder that we struggle to find our way through our biographies.
Before becoming a therapist I worked for 25 years as a Waldorf educator. I worked with all ages--Kindergarten through high school. This is a developmental education and an artistic one. I am always informed by our developmental tasks through life, well into our final years. I also enjoy stepping into creative, imaginative when clients are open to it, even if just to think about a problem in a new way.
My imagination serves me when I am with someone. I have experienced a great deal of trauma and loss, but my experience is never the same as yours. With your help I can step into your experience through my capacity to imagine.
Hi, I am Dr. Amanda Hart, and I am glad you found your way to therapy as part of your healing journey. I hope that I can be a helpful support in reaching your mental health goals. I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who has worked in a variety of outpatient and inpatient mental health settings. I specialize in treating adolescents and adults who are dealing with a range of concerns, from depression or anxiety, trauma, or even difficulties in adapting to changes in everyday life.
As a therapist, I believe in working from a holistic perspective. Mental, physical, social, and spiritual health are all aspects of wellness that should be considered in healing. My therapeutic approach is integrative in nature and I strive to meet my clients’ individual needs as appropriate. I believe a focus on self-compassion and personal strengths are helpful in building resilience and confidence, which contribute to overall mental health and progress toward meaningful goals. My therapeutic style is warm, nonjudgmental, and friendly. My goal is to help my clients understand they are not alone and there is always hope in moving forward.
Life is a journey of continuous change which requires personal adaptation. Whether you are going through a transition, or you have ongoing concerns, therapy is a safe place to express emotions and develop a more meaningful and satisfactory experience out of life.

Hello, I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist based in California. I received my Doctorate Degree from Alliant International University in Fresno. I was born in Southern California and raised in the Bay Area. I have been practicing for 10 years and I enjoy empowering adults in their journey of overcoming their mental health challenges. I motivate clients for change and promote their personal growth.
This is my first career and something I have always been pulled to; my journey is a thorough reflection of why I work in this field. My path to becoming a licensed therapist was very intuitive-based; I went through experiences of pain, guilt, shame, loss of self, and the loss of my overall sense of life. Through my journey, I was able to understand pain and trauma, taking on a lot of spiritual remedies while turning my pain into passion, my passion into purpose, and my purpose into power as a healer. Due to my licensure journey, I not only understand the educational part of pain, trauma, and healing, but I also experienced painful and challenging moments myself, bringing me to a higher purpose for self and meaning of life! I am highly intuitive, empathic, gentle, and calm, and I am a good listener and healer. I have worked in addiction, with children who have autism and intellectual disabilities, PTSD, anxiety, depression, life coaching, spirituality, and connecting to the higher self.
