About me

Welcome! My name is Liz and I am a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) committed to helping individuals navigate life's challenges with confidence and resilience. Through a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strengths-Based approaches, and the option to incorporate Faith-Based counseling, I provide personalized support that empowers clients to discover their inner strength, heal from past wounds, and build a more fulfilling future. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, stress, or navigating life's challenges, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your path to healing and growth.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session with me, you can expect a warm and comfortable environment where you are truly heard and understood. We will take the time to get to know one another, explore your unique challenges, and discuss your goals for therapy. Together, we will begin creating meaningful and personalized goals that align with your values and aspirations.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a provider is my ability to offer deep empathy, ensuring that each client feels truly seen, heard, and understood as we work together toward their healing and growth.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help individuals identify and challenge negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. By working together, we explore how thoughts, emotions, and actions are interconnected, and I guide clients in developing healthier, more adaptive ways of thinking and responding to life’s challenges. Through practical tools like cognitive restructuring, mindfulness, and behavioral activation, I empower clients to gain greater control over their thoughts and behaviors, leading to lasting improvements in mental well-being and overall quality of life.

Strength-Based

I incorporate a Strengths-Based approach to help individuals recognize and build upon their unique strengths and resources. Rather than focusing solely on challenges or deficits, I empower clients to identify their inherent abilities, resilience, and past successes, which serve as a foundation for growth and healing. By highlighting these strengths, I help clients gain a greater sense of self-efficacy and confidence, encouraging them to approach life's difficulties with a renewed sense of optimism and self-compassion. This approach fosters a positive, collaborative therapeutic environment where clients can feel supported as they work toward their goals and create meaningful change in their lives.

Liz is wonderful. I feel like she's empowered me to take back ownership of my life and see things in a positive light (without toxic positivity). She's helped me learn so much about myself (through her curious empathy) and led me down a path that reached enlightenment, growth, release, and appreciation. It feels like a new way of thinking but at the same time, still being authentically me. I'm very grateful for her and everything she's helped me accomplish.

After the session, I took a deep breath and felt a little less tense. It was great to talk with Liz. I felt like she asked the right questions and found respectful ways to keep us on track. I really like that she is also a mom and finds her empathy to be her biggest strength.
