I work well with independent-minded people who think, question, and want therapy that respects their intelligence, independence and autonomy. Many of my clients are capable people navigating life challenges such as stress, grief, health issues, relationships with self and others, or major life transitions and want a place to slow down and make sense of it all. Together we process patterns, organize what feels overwhelming, clarify values, and strengthen the resilience that supports the life and health you are building for yourself. I believe in real therapy for real people. My style is direct, compassionate, and practical grounded in warmth, clarity, and humor. If this resonates with you, you’re welcome to reach out and schedule a session to get started.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is a space for you to begin wherever feels most important. Some people arrive with something they’ve been wanting to talk about right away, while others warm up more gradually once trust is built. During the first few sessions I’ll also be getting to know you and your background so I can understand what brings you to therapy and how best to support you. The process is conversational, and you’re always welcome to ask questions

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Clients often describe me as direct, down-to-earth, and easy to talk to, with a sense of humor that helps make therapy feel natural rather than clinical. Many people leave sessions feeling clearer, more organized, and better able to face challenges with perspective and confidence.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Many of the people I work with are going through life transitions, grief, health challenges, or periods where emotions begin to feel overwhelming. You may notice your thoughts and feelings spilling into daily life or relationships, or feel like you’re talking about the same things repeatedly with friends and family and don’t want to burden them. Therapy provides a space to slow things down, make sense of what you’re feeling, and work toward greater clarity, emotional balance, and stronger relationships with yourself and others.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

Attachment therapy helps us explore how past relationships influence the way you experience closeness, trust, and conflict today. Through this work, clients develop stronger boundaries, emotional security, and more fulfilling relationships.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients clarify their values and move toward a life that feels meaningful and intentional. Mindfulness and behavioral strategies are used to build flexibility and help people take action aligned with what matters most.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

I lean on Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) to helps clients identify, process, and understand underlying emotional experiences. This work helps reduce defensiveness, clarify needs, and support healthier boundaries and more authentic connection.

Existential

I draw from existential and meaning-centered psychotherapy to help clients explore purpose, values, and what gives life meaning, especially during times of loss, illness, or transition. This work supports greater clarity, resilience, and a deeper sense of direction in life.
