I’m a clinical psychologist (PhD) licensed in CA and OH, offering warm, depth-oriented individual therapy for adults navigating anxiety, life transitions (e.g., starting a new career, college, empty-nest, break-ups), social and familial relationship challenges, imposter syndrome, perfectionism, depression, and low self-esteem. I take a collaborative, insight-focused approach, helping clients approach their experiences with non-judgmental curiosity as they explore patterns, build self-awareness, understand and become more comfortable with their emotions, and work through past hurts. Together, we foster confidence, connection, values-driven action, personalized boundaries, and lasting well-being in personal, social, and professional areas of life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation of trust and collaboration. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping to change or understand, and any concerns you may have about the process. I’ll ask questions to learn about your current challenges, personal history, and the patterns you’ve noticed in your life, while also making space for what feels most important to you in the moment. You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say—many clients arrive feeling unsure or overwhelmed, and that’s completely okay. My goal is to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and supported. We’ll also discuss how therapy works, address any practical questions, and begin to collaboratively identify goals and a direction for our work together. By the end of the first session, most clients leave with a clearer sense of whether we’re a good fit, a deeper understanding of what they’re struggling with, and an initial sense of relief or hope. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we’ll move at a pace that feels safe and supportive for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What most stands out about my work is my ability to create a warm, thoughtful, and emotionally attuned space where clients feel safe exploring complex inner experiences. I take a depth-oriented, insight-focused approach that helps people understand the underlying patterns shaping their thoughts, emotions, and relationships—not just manage symptoms. I believe that no one is perfect, including me, and that even in supportive relationships, unintended hurts can occur. I actively invite clients to share how they feel with me and about our work together. When ruptures or misunderstandings arise, I take accountability for my role and view client feedback as an essential part of the therapeutic process. I also pay close attention to the therapeutic relationship itself—how our work together may mirror familiar relational patterns or, at times, offer a completely new relational experience. Exploring these dynamics can be a powerful path toward greater self-awareness, emotional safety, and change. Throughout our work, I integrate evidence-based, relational, and trauma-informed approaches, with an emphasis on self-compassion, emotional awareness, and lasting growth that extends beyond therapy.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Adults who are thoughtful, motivated, and seeking deeper self-understanding often find therapy with me to be a good fit. I bring empathy and curiosity to people navigating a wide range of life challenges, with particular experience supporting individuals struggling with anxiety, imposter syndrome, low self-esteem, depression, relationship difficulties, major life transitions, and developmental or complex trauma. Many people who come to therapy with me feel stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand and are looking for therapy that goes beyond symptom management or coping skills. Together, we work collaboratively to foster insight, emotional awareness, self-compassion, and meaningful, lasting change—supporting greater confidence, more satisfying relationships, and a stronger sense of self-trust.
