Hi there, I’m Michelle,
Have you not felt like yourself lately? Are you struggling to find that happy, healthy, hopeful place in life? Whether it be from relationships, personal, or just life, sometimes we can just feel overwhelmed and out of sync with who we were or who we would like to become.
I am here to help facilitate that change. Together we can target the obstacles in your life and make a plan of action to put you on the right path. By using an integrative approach with effective therapeutic modalities we focus on the whole being to get you in balance.
My style is eclectic utilizing an empathetic position to build rapport while empowering you to become the stronger happier version of self. I combine affirmations and metaphoric narrative to separate you from the problem, allowing you to externalize the issues rather than internalize them.
I will meet you right where you are and provide a safe place for you to thrive and move forward.
“If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.” ~Martin Luther King Jr.
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who believes therapy should be a place where you can be honest about what you’re experiencing without feeling judged, rushed, or misunderstood. My practice provides a supportive, collaborative space for adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, emotional overwhelm, and challenges with self-esteem and emotional regulation.
My approach is individualized because I recognize that there is no single path to healing. Together, we’ll explore what is contributing to your current struggles, identify patterns that may no longer be serving you, and develop practical tools to help you feel more grounded and in control of your life.
You are the one everyone depends on. Impressive on paper, composed on the outside, and carrying far more than most people realize.
You keep showing up and making things work. But privately, you may have the 3 a.m. mental replay, a mind that will not turn off, difficulty setting boundaries, resentment from carrying too much, or the realization that you are everyone's priority except your own.
I'm Dr. Dezetta Burnett, DSW, LCSW. I work with accomplished women and professionals navigating anxiety, overthinking, burnout, relationship patterns, family dynamics, grief, fertility treatment, IVF or IUI, and major life transitions.
I am especially skilled at helping high-functioning adults identify the underlying dynamics that often go unexamined precisely because life on the outside appears successful. You may understand your patterns intellectually and still find yourself repeating them.
My approach is direct, thoughtful, and practical. We look beneath the immediate problem, understand what is driving it, and identify what needs to change. You do not have to be in crisis. Sometimes functioning well is no longer enough.
If you are preparing for or undergoing IVF or IUI and need an earlier appointment, schedule my next available opening and message me. I will do my best to accommodate you sooner.
As a healing professional with over 25 years of experience, I am dedicated to empowering people to overcome their present challenges and lead more productive, abundant lives. My keen ability to listen, understand, and help others recognize their own internal strengths is my superpower in improving the lives of my clients. My services focus on working with individuals, couples, families, and minors (ages 13-17). I specialize in treating ADHD, anger management, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, coping skills, domestic violence, women's issues, substance use, self-esteem, and relationship issues
My name is Mary Sowah-Quaye, and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of California State University in Bakersfield. I've worked in many different settings with individuals and families who have a variety of personal issues such as depression/anxiety, stress, family problems, and relationships issues.
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who believes therapy should feel like a real conversation—not a clinical interview. I bring warmth, authenticity, humor, and compassion into the room while also being willing to challenge you when needed. My goal is to create a space where you can take off the mask, talk honestly about what’s really going on, and feel understood without judgment. Whether you’re navigating relationships, anxiety, grief, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, we’ll work together to understand the patterns that are no longer serving you and find practical ways to move forward.

Hello I'm Sonja — a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor based in California. My path to this work wasn't a straight line and I think that makes me a better clinician. I started with a career in corrections in Arkansas, where I learned early on how to connect with people in difficult circumstances without judgment. That experience shaped how I show up in the therapy room to this day. I transitioned into mental health as a psychiatric technician, working directly with all age groups across inpatient and community settings; providing direct care, facilitating group therapy, and delivering individual therapy during my internship and later as a registered clinician with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. By the time I became fully licensed, I had accumulated nearly a decade of real-world clinical experience across some of the most demanding settings in behavioral health..
My approach is the culmination of over 20 years of personal experience, study and work in the fields of social worker and therapies . Deeply listening and living in life’s fullness has been my touchstone and a guiding light that continues to inform and teach me. I look forward to talking with you and learning more about how I can help.
*PLEASE NOTE THAT I ONLY ACCEPT CLIENTS IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA AT THIS TIME*

Healing doesn't just happen in therapy, it happens when you feel seen, challenged, and supported enough to create lasting change. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I help adults and couples navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My approach is warm, authentic, trauma-informed, and rooted in accountability.
Clients often tell me I feel like the auntie, big sister, cousin, or trusted friend who listens without judgment, tells you what you need to hear with compassion, and lovingly holds you accountable. I believe growth requires both empathy and action, so don't be surprised if you leave our sessions with practical tools, reflection exercises, or homework to continue your healing between appointments.
My background spans clinical social work, crisis intervention, nonprofit leadership, community mental health, advocacy, program development, and systems change. Because of this, I understand that healing isn't just about changing your thoughts—it's also about understanding your environment, your relationships, and the systems that have shaped your experiences.
Whether you're healing from trauma, processing grief, navigating a difficult season, improving your relationships, or trying to reconnect with yourself, my goal is to help you build resilience, discover your strengths, and create a life that feels more peaceful, purposeful, and authentic.

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 10 years of experience supporting adolescents, young adults, and families. I began my work in community-based public mental health, serving underserved populations, and that foundation continues to shape how I show up today—with care, respect, and a real understanding of life’s complexities. My background includes working with severe mental illness, including schizophrenia spectrum disorders, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, and complex trauma, so I’m comfortable supporting both early or emerging concerns and ongoing mental health conditions. I’ve worked extensively with low-income communities, immigrants, and individuals from diverse cultural and LGBTQIA+ backgrounds. I also have a strong background working with mothers, particularly single mothers, who are navigating their own mental health while supporting children or adult children with their own challenges. My approach is collaborative and strength-based—I focus on helping you build on what’s already working while developing practical tools you can use in your daily life. I aim to create a space that is calm, supportive, and nonjudgmental, where you can show up as you are, speak openly, and process what you’re going through while also building practical tools to better navigate everyday life.

I am passionate about helping individuals navigate the different challenges they face and build coping skills to create more fulfilling and holistic life experiences. From my journey, I can personally attest to the power of support, in its many forms. This support goes beyond clients I service but also to their families and communities. I believe that mental wellness isn’t just individualistic; but includes the ecosystem surrounding the person. My praxis acknowledges and aims to support the village needed by all.
I’m also passionate about the transformative impact of safe and brave spaces for those who often experience exclusion. My career has afforded me opportunities to build trust with LGBTQ+, Black, Indigenous, Latina/o/x, and Refugee communities across the nation. It is a personal privilege to center wellness and holistic care for all as ‘self-care is a radical form of resistance.’

Hi my name is Mandisa Pittmon and I am a married mother of 3 teenage children who understands the joy and challenges of parenting and relationships. I am originally from Southern California but have happily resided in Sacramento, CA since 2012.
I graduated from California State Fullerton and soon began working with foster youth in group home facilities for 8 years while working in nonprofit community outpatient clinics, which allowed me to better understand the needs of families and children from various cultures and back grounds. I then earned a Masters degree (MA) in 2011 from National University, feeling the need to increase my knowledge and ability to serve individuals and families, which began my journey in marriage and family therapy. Later I was able to receive additional training in Applied Behavior Analysis, allowing me to work with children on the autism spectrum and with other disabilities, in various school districts.
Thanks for taking the time to read my profile. I'm a short-term, solution-oriented therapist that focuses on identifying and relieving on mild-to-moderate mental health symptoms, likely related to newer onset life stressors: family and relationship issues, school and work, grief and loss, medical diagnoses, etc. Though I would love to serve all that are seeking mental health therapy, it's important that I remain within my scope of competence and scope of practice. Therefore, I'm ethically unable to accept clients seeking long-term/maintenance care or specialized interventions (e.g., trauma, OCD, etc.).
My approach to therapy tends to resonate best with clients who are moderately motivated to truly seek out solutions to their issues and symptoms, and are willing to do the work- both in session, and out- to achieve the results desired. We collaborate to identify the issues, and put in the actual work to make change for resolution. Though I am a clinician that utilizes evidence-based practices and interventions, I would definitely say I'm also a bit of a life coach!
