Greetings to all! I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist as well as a licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who navigates support of ALL clients in truth and transparency. I earned two Masters degrees in Marriage & Family Therapy as well as Industrial Organizational Psychology. My clients show up to session; knowing that they can have or will acquire the tools to navigate life and reach the specific goal(s) that they outline for themselves in a professional environment is a safe space and free from judgment.
In our first counseling session together, we will provide a brief introduction, discuss the Limits of Confidentiality for understanding to include counseling expectations, complete a psychosocial assessment, and delve into the issue or concern that brings you to therapy. This first session will help to create a good treatment plan that can be measured future work together.
My greatest strength as a provider & LGBTQIA supporter and sex educator, includes, but is not limited to, having an empathetic, active listening, ear, while sharing what is being heard with the objective information provided by my clients; also known as my people. This allows for the CBT work of challenging one’s thought process which will glean insight into the root of the issue and solutions to follow.

I’ve been using CBT in my practice for the past 20 years. This therapeutic modality has helped hundreds of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety, anger, life transitions, interpersonal relationships and more. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors/actiions influence each other. You will be able to challenge your thoughts agains the reality of life events and situations. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a life filled with calm and peace by reducing that which is a barrier to becoming the best version of you!
I’ve been using Solution-Focused Brief Therapy in my practice for the past 20 years. We’ll use SFBT to recognize and acknowledge goals that are specific, achievable, relevant and time-bound, but most importantly, achievable. You will be able to challenge identify goals and together, create a solid plan for goal success!
