Hi, I’m Cassandra! I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University. I’ve had exciting opportunities to work in a variety of therapeutic settings including an inpatient psychiatric hospital treating a higher level of acuity, intensive outpatient program supporting teens and young adults, a residential facility working with incarcerated youth, and an outpatient program at a University counseling center.
You want to change your feelings, thoughts, or behaviors, but every time you try, it blows up in your face. (Not literally...hopefully.) How do you get unstuck?! The most important factor is the relationship with your therapist. My main focus is teaming up with you - not telling you what to do - in figuring out how to help you create new patterns.
My practice mostly revolves around increasing your awareness of what’s happening in your mind and your body – and above all, respecting your experience. My approach focuses on mindfulness, DBT, and post-traumatic growth. This takes work, but with the help of someone you trust, you absolutely can change the structure of your brain!
As much as I may be in the most privileged of demographics (see photo), I’ve taken a lifetime’s worth of feeling inferior and deployed it for good: Being able to empathize with you, the client. I've worked extensively with anger, grief, substance use, LGBTQ+-related issues, insomnia, racial identity, relationship issues, sports performance, etc.
I have an easygoing way of communicating with clients. My communication style definitely doesn't have that solemn, overly serious tone that you might see depicted in movie therapists. Just to forewarn: My sessions can and will include some (very lame) jokes here and there, but that does not mean I don't take your struggle seriously.
"Life is a journey, travel it well."
I believe we're all on our own individual journeys of life that sometimes put us in valleys and sometimes on top of hills. When it comes to the valleys, sometimes it's alright to reach out to someone for a little guidance and help.
Hi, my name is Ryan and I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist. One of my favorite parts of my own journey has been navigating the complexities of young adult life stages from college, to work, romance and beyond. But whether or not it's life transitions or just a need for someone to journey along side you during a difficult time, I am here to help.

My name is Ashley and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist. I graduated with my Masters in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2021 but have been working in the field as a Clinical Therapist since 2020. I have worked with various populations including Individuals, Children & Adolescents, Couples and Families. I help clients by coming from a non judgmental, supportive and empathetic, and relatable down to earth approach. I like to meet my clients where they are at and allow them to help me guide them by providing a space they feel comfortable to open up and be themselves in.
I believe that therapy can heal, but I also know that telling a stranger about your deepest pain can be a strange feeling. Perhaps you've been feeling sad, depressed or worried, and hopeless that anything in your life can change. Or maybe you aren't sure what you would even want help with. You know you feel bad, but if someone were to ask you "How can I help?", you aren't sure what you would say.
These problems can feel permanent and unsolvable. After all, something feels broken and unfixable, so how could you not feel that it takes all the energy you have just to get up in the morning and go about your day? Depression or anxiety can also feel isolating, as if nobody else could possibly understand. You may have even received advice from people who you feel mean well but can't understand what you're going through.
Depression and anxiety are not permanent or unfixable, and therapy can help. Imagine feeling peace of mind, and excited about life and its possibilities. It starts by learning about you and going at your pace. As a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with over 16 years experience working with adults and teens, I've seen therapy work, and I feel lucky that I get to be part of that journey for others.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I believe healing happens through connection, compassion, and understanding. I partner with clients to explore patterns, build coping skills, and develop greater self-awareness in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment. My work is informed by trauma-informed care and a holistic perspective that honors each client’s lived experience. My goal is to help clients feel more grounded, confident, and aligned with their values.

"You’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think."
-A.A. Milne
We all struggle at times to see our inner strengths and capabilities due to the life experiences which have shaped us. I work in the belief that we each have everything we need to achieve a fulfilled and successful life already present within us; sometimes we just need a little help accessing it. Using a multi-modality approach I encourage my clients to work in the small steps, not the giant leaps, that bring us to self awareness, acceptance, and lasting change.
I began my working career as an EMT in pre-hospital and Emergency Room settings. The desire to further my education and better serve my community led me to pursue becoming an LMFT. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brandman University and a Master’s degree in Psychology with a dual emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and Clinical Counseling from Brandman University. I have additional training and experience in Clinical Pastoral Education from the College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy at David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base and have worked in both residential treatment and clinical settings.
I have four sons and two grandchildren. In my off time I enjoy spending time in nature, photography, and attending baseball games with my husband of 25 years.

Anxiety, Depression and Anger Management are my favorite issues to work with because they are typically all linked. I have taught anxiety, depression, anger management, couples communication and work stress groups in the past using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Solution Focused therapy which is my preferred theoretical perspective. I am passionate about teaching about self-care, healthy communication, learning to set boundaries and holistic healing methods that help my clients heal from the things that trigger their symptoms.
My goal is to empower my clients to find solutions that work for them and make choices/decisions to create the change in the mind, body or spirit that they want to see. I love to laugh, smile and have fun with my clients to create a safe space to grow and heal. It is my pleasure to work with clients who are passionate about working together to heal from symptoms and grow with a little bit of laughter. :-) I look forward to hearing and working with you in the future.

My name is Jessica Barton-Grimley and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing therapy in the state of California. I am committed to fostering a trusting environment where you can freely explore your thoughts, behaviors, and emotions at a pace that feels comfortable to you. Alongside my empathetic and compassionate support, I focus on equipping clients with practical tools and resources to support you in achieving your goals.
As a licensed mental health professional based in California, I specialize in providing compassionate and individualized care for clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and complex family dynamics. Drawing from a rich background for the last 15 years in evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, and family systems approaches, I empower my clients to navigate life's challenges and improve their relationships. My practice is centered around fostering a supportive and understanding environment where clients can explore, grow, and heal. Through a blend of clinical expertise and holistic lifestyle strategies, I guide individuals and families towards lasting change, enhancing their well-being and resilience. The impact of my work is reflected in the renewed hope, strengthened relationships, and positive life transformations experienced by those I serve.
Hi there, I'm Edward, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have a diverse background in my years working in the mental health field which includes having two Masters in Social Work and Criminal Justice. I have worked with families, individuals, and couples, with issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, thought disorders, and emotional disturbances. I have worked in a variety of different settings that have helped me develop a unique skill set in addressing overall mental health. Some examples include outpatient/inpatient care, hospice, the prison system, and the education system.
My approach is collaborative and I strive to make my patients feel understood and heard throughout the process. I often explain to them that even though I may be the professional, they are the professionals of their own lives and it's just an honor to play a small part in supporting them.
I’m a first-generation, Vietnamese, transgender, and queer therapist who brings both professional training and lived experience to the work. My approach is rooted in empathy, curiosity, and a deep respect for each person’s unique story.
In my practice, I often draw from EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help clients process trauma and experiences in a way that feels restorative. EMDR supports the brain’s natural healing by using bilateral stimulation—like eye or auditory movements —to reprocess memories and reduce their emotional intensity.
I also use Narrative Therapy, which invites clients to explore the stories they’ve been told or have come to believe about themselves. Together, we uncover how those stories were shaped—by culture, relationships, systems, or past experiences—and work toward reclaiming narratives that center resilience, agency, and authenticity.
I understand the importance of creating a space where clients feel seen, affirmed, and safe to show up as their full selves. Whether you’re navigating trauma, identity exploration, or simply seeking to reconnect with yourself, I’m here support you in that process with care, collaboration, and accountability.
Are you looking for a mental health letter for gender-affirming surgery? I write those! Feel free to reach out for short-term therapy services to complete the letter assessment process with me.
My practice uses old fashioned, human-generated tools and information methodically accumulated over years of community and evidenced based research. I do not use AI programs at any point in the therapeutic process.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) dedicated to helping individuals who are struggling with current life challenges. Over the years I have worked with many populations treating different mental health diagnosis in medical hospitals as a Medical Social Worker and mental health field including In-patient psychiatric Hospitals and Outpatient clinics. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that something isn't OK right now. That something might be new, or it might have been around a long time. You might be able to describe it perfectly, or you might just feel off without knowing why. Either way — you're here, and that's the only thing that matters right now.
I start from wherever you are. No assumptions, no judgments, no one-size-fits-all approach. Just a genuine desire to understand you — what's brought you here, what you're carrying, and what you're hoping for.
Therapy with me — whether you're coming alone or with a partner — tends to be honest and occasionally even a little lighthearted. The human experience isn't black and white, and neither is the work we'll do together. What stays consistent is that you'll have a space that belongs to you, where nothing you say or feel changes how I show up for you.
For couples, that space belongs to both of you equally. I don't take sides. What I do is help you see the pattern you're both caught in — because most of the time it's the cycle doing the damage, not each other. When that shifts, something else becomes possible.
No matter what it is you are navigating — depression, relationships, identity, or the gap between how you show up and how you actually feel inside — you don't have to have it figured out to reach out.

Hi, my name is Angelina Marquez. I grew up on the central coast of California and have two beautiful children. I know life sometimes throws us unexpected challenges that can make us feel overwhelmed, anxious, and hopeless. If you are struggling with life challenges that are impacting your quality of life, I am here to tell you there is hope. Loss is often one of our biggest life challenges that trigger mental health issues. Grief is a natural response to loss, whether that is a loss of a relationship, job, or death of a loved one, it can also bring up thoughts and feelings of past traumas. Processing and learning about loss and grief and what to expect when grieving can help you grow and heal.
I graduated from California State University Monterey Bay in 2012 with a Bachelors's in Collaborative Health and Human Services. I went on to work in several different counseling and behavioral health specialist positions until I graduated with a master's in social work in 2018. I have training in various therapeutic modalities and am a certified grief-informed professional. I not only have my own life experiences that brought me to this work; I also have over 10 years of experience working with diverse populations, such as children, adolescents, adults, and families with a variety of needs.
I have more than two decades of intensive training in mindfulness and meditation, and I believe that is the reason for my ability to be very present. I believe in the power of human resilience and our unstoppable inclination to grow towards wellness, health and balance. We can heal and grow, no matter what obstacles we face. My clients and I collaborate to fuel positive change and create better relational and mental health outcomes.
I have an extensive background in treating clients with depression, anxiety, substance abuse and narcissistic abuse histories.
Hi, I'm Juliana! I have been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 2014; graduated from Cal State Northridge in 2008. I value the importance of human connection and collaboration. Over the past 18 years, I have had the pleasure of working with diverse populations including Serious Mental Illness specializing in trauma and personality disorders, Addiction including those involved in the Criminal Justice System and Child Protective Services, LGBTQ, and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Four of those years were spent in a hospital Emergency Department, which focused primarily on crisis interventions. I want to start by recognizing the tremendous courage and step forward in seeking therapy. I utilize a whole person, strength based, and compassionate approach to understanding your problems. My goal is to support you by listening and helping you find solutions that will work for you. I utilize a cultural humility and solutions focused approach to ensure that you are in the driver seat and I can be your headlights in reaching that destination. I pull from a variety of evidence-based practices and consider myself eclectic in style. In our sessions, therapy should feel natural, conversational, safe and overall be a space to promote healing. We all need someone to talk to, so let's work together. Tambien hablo Espanol.

Hello, I'm Sheena.
Do you feel like life is always throwing you for a loop? Are you struggling to keep your head above water? Are we losing sight of who we are as a person?
I help individuals, families, and couples manage the demands and challenges that life brings. Together, we will identify the causes of your challenges and develop solutions to empower yourself to find life balance. You should have a safe space to openly discuss your thoughts and feelings. Treatment should not be cookie-cutter but individualized to your needs, which is focused on in our sessions. Change is a scary concept in our lives, but it is easier when you have someone with you along the journey. I'll meet you with empathy, compassion, honesty, and evidence-based techniques to allow you to work toward the goals you want for yourself. Let's go on this journey together!
